FIFA 14 Better Career Patch

It would be great if you guys could test v6.0 (to see if all stable/working as it should), and give me feedback.
I can't do all the transfers (limited time), but I will at least try to do the 'big' names.

After doing a new career with Atl. Madrid(with the new v6.0RC4 patch) I saw that
1. One team in the Liga BBVA is N/A listened and without logo and
2. Courtois is not loaned/moved from/to Chelsea.

I will make some other career's to see if there are other bugs, still good job from you doing all this effort for us!

Thanks for the feedback! I've fixed the issues in V6.0RC5:
- Fixed wrong teams in leagues (BPL, ITA A/B, etc.)
- Added playerloans back
- Courtois to Chelsea
- Fixes in fifadb

Unfortunately I can't add all those things, because I'm doing an one man job. I will do the big names, but editing all the stats is so much work, I can't do this alone.

But it would be great if you guys could help me, if you have the time of courses.

I'm looking for members that want to join the team, and add transfers/stats to the database. Since FIFA 15 will be released at the end of September, it would be great if we could add a few things already in the FIFA 14 version.

Anyway, if you have time and want to help, please let me know!

In the latest version (v6.02), Southampton has 0 attack rating, and when I try to play with them, the game crashes. So far, its the only bug I have found.

Instead of 4-3-3, it writes 4-3-2003 in the formations list. Same thing happens with 5-3-2, 4-2-2-2 and other formations.

Game still crashes when I try to enter a career. I will reinstall Fifa and try it again, but atm I am still crashing.

Some transfers like Victor Valdes - free agent arent done.

Also, Girona wont promote to Primera as they are in the relegation area. Will post more bugs as I will find them.

Keep up the good work though, I know you work hard to make this mod.

What team are you trying to enter career mode? I can enter Arsenal without any problems, but I haven't tested other teams.

Will take a look at the formations as well.

About free-agents; they still need to be added. I'm inviting everyone to help.

The game crash with all teams indeed he crash when I push the buttom :"New career"
And, he's crashing also with the V5...

Will it work (last version), if i only install database patch (no career mode patch)? And will i have then start in 2014 year with ability to sign last year players like Neymar, Tevez...? One thing for me was unrealistic - Neymar cost about 45 euro, Ramos 75. And too many offers for transfer for me. And thanks for big work.

well, i tryed many combinations with files and or i have, for example, Kaka, who i cant transfer coz he just joined to the team, or i have no transfers. I installed your, Beta990, gameplay patch (with database), but not career-mode patch - be clear, i more like fifa style transfers. But if install all your patches , it's all ok. How you did it?

So these are the files I edited for more years in career.
Few of these.

However there were like 2 that said this from default. So I didn't know what to do with this file.

And there was one that said the same thing, but was Seasoncount instead of season.
And one more which didn't say "update="True"

Well, you can put a team that currently is on play off position: Real Murcia, Sporting Gijon, Cordoba or Las Palmas. You can also put Recreativo since they are on tie with the last place that goes to play off.

EDIT:

Found some more bugs. Manchester United has Lindengaard in GK position, and all created players (players that are not in original D have a blank space instead of their name. When I try to play with Southampton, game crashes. Atm this is all i have.

I have regenerated and none of the issues dissapeared. On the bright side, I reinstalled FIFA, and career mode works fine with latest updates.

Hi, thx for the great work beta990, absolutely love it.

I have a suggestion, I am not sure if it is already fixed. But the players go down really fast in rating after they reach 30-32. I know you have fixed the retirement age, which is great, but can you reduce this negative growth. sorry for my ignorance if it already fixed. can I edit one of the txt files in order to fix this myself?

Also my players have huge Problem with first ball contact.. playing with werder Bremen and loses all first 5 matches. Doesnt make fun pls help me and sorry for my englisch came from germany

I quite like the gameplay, it feels more rewarding to win, even if I do only play on professional. Try changing the difficulty and changing sliders for first touch error, as well as passing error for cpu.
