Played with v1 a two year long career, and found following things not really working well for me.

I agree, their is only not much I can do about that. The EA player rating is sometimes really bad. Why is Ramsey not a top talent? Just look at how he started the season!

I have tweaked playervalues.ini so that the asking price will be lower. If you want it to be better, we have to edit fifadb.

It's more balanced. Like the the 'real world' players will be tired after a game, some players can play a full game, others need to be replaced. If more changed are needed, please let me know. :)

EA thinks that players are only motivated I they play against a word class team. I tried removing these restrictions so even against a low(er) team will bring more gameplay balance. I really hate that I could win from Man Utd, but not from a 2/3nd league team.

Yes, you can increase the number. But the max. squad can't be more than 42> players. I recommend to set it to 40 squad players to prevent crashes (like the ones you're getting now..)

I will give the new release a try in the next few days and start a career today night. I will give you feedback asap !

I'm looking at this issue. If you played 15 years (or the end of the season), please provide me with a screenshot or text. I'm searching for strings inside files. :)

I'm also having this issue, it's properly because I changed the player values and the scout is a little bit confused. You can however continue to play without issues, just wait till the scout completed his report, you can see the correct value.

Playing on a new career should however fix this issue.

Yes, they (all) work. But weird things as this (weird values) could occur.

Where did you get the following lines from?

In the FIFA13.exe there are more values that can't be found in other *.ini files.

max_alloc extracted these from demo, i think the full game is the same.

Two questions regarding file use and player stat decrease after 30+

I appreciate your work making the career more realistic.

I have two questions for you regarding your career tweaks:

1) I'm only interested in the following adjustments to my career mode:
- Less movement of top players
- Better growth of players
- Less retirement

Do I only use the files 'transferteamdecision', 'playergrowth' and 'playerretirement' for this and regenerate after with iard68 tool?

2) I noticed a lot of decrease in stats of players at the age of 30 or higher. For example: I tested with Chelsea, Ashley Cole decreased from 84 to 83 after the first 2 friendly games. Is this issue addressed in your 'playerretirement' file or is this file only extending the age players decide to retire?

It would be great if we can play with 30+ players with decent stats (especially for (potential) world class players).

i really enjoy your career mode tweaks. Except of that -2.000.000 bug, everything works fine for me.

What im not happy with, is the price cpu is calling for some players. (specially for high potential players).

For example:

Player 1
~76 skill
Only 6 months left on contract
Market Price €9.500.000 / 6.500.000 for vanilla

Cpu request min. €25.000.000,.....sometimes even €28.0000.000
Considering that he has only 6 months left on his contract, this is just ridiculous.

Tried the same with vanilla, and cpu requested €13.500.000 and was even accepting an offer of €9.000.000.


Player 2
~74 skill
3 years left on contract
Market Price €6.500.000 / 3.500.000 for vanilla

Cpu request min. €18.300.000 and most of time dont accept offer under €21.000.000.
On Vanilla cpu is asking at least €13.200.000 and mostly accept offers around €13.500.000.

Even though the market price in vanilla is most of time too low, i think the requested price by cpu is more realistic with vanilla.

Tried to tweak it by myself, but didn´t found the right balance.
Maybe you can find a solution?

1) Yes, that are the files you need. You will need to regenerate after editing.

2) Some could also be defined in playergrowth.ini, you will have to search. :P

managerai.ini is for the assistant that you can use to manage your team (e.g. do subs). I could be mistaken though.
