are those from the xbox or pc, matt?

as i know the xbox db is different to pc version cause of reversed values. never was able to mod the fifa12 db.

db files are in the data0.big.

xbox, pc BIG files look encrypted - and yh i wasnt able to mod the fifa12 db for xbox, just the other files

was able to load the xbox fifa 12 db with "db master 12" but when i changed values and save it, game always crashes.

Well guys, it looks like we need to colaborate so much, advanced modders, plz post the basic methods to analize big files, so we that are not experts can analize them too, and we all can contribute.

Post links where we can read basics, for example in compression algorithms, and the steps for analize.

If we work all togheter withouth keep the knowledge we may done with FIFA13 modding

at offset 94-af seems to be a string of 20 char that have a sort of crc in sha1 algorithm...

xbox, pc BIG files look encrypted - and yh i wasnt able to mod the fifa12 db for xbox, just the other files

btw it seems like a lot of things from compdata now are back into the database (but maybe just in console version?), also there are a lot of new stats like previus season goals or yellow cards and 'restricted players' with a 'reason' (maybe disqualified one?)

I can read these locale db file with a simple tool which I develop by myself.

But seems DBM 12 cannot.

at offset 94-af seems to be a string of 20 char that have a sort of crc in sha1 algorithm...

this is the part in common between every .big files, so i suppose this is the header containing unpacked size, hash key (and so fifacittiu offset 94 matches) and so on

data0, data1 and data2, that had same 00-07, had same part of data too (B8-3E7)
