The recent new implementations affect the compatibility
of this new version of the regenerator with fifa11.
The program, however, should not behave like this ...
it should open the window for the manual selection of the game path!

Probably the procedure for checking the version is not yet perfect
(in fact, it was not necessary before...), and sometimes creates problems.
I'm glad you've solved however, later I'll try to fix that too.

Why don't you do why I suggested in the previous page? (right here: http://www.soccergaming.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3140683&postcount=86 ). I think it could save you some hard headaches.

I just found a solution for that. As already said, the software obviously doesn't find your FIFA 12 main directory. In order to setup the correct path to the game you only need to go to your 'User\Documents\i68Fifa12' path and then open the i68Regenerator.ini via Notepad.
To complete the setup you can now choose your game path at the DefaultPath option.
Done!

Download Fidel's gp evo mod. It has the regenerator with it and it works fine. Use that to regenerate any files you're using.

I'm developing a tool that allows editers to install
almost every file (already in the game)...
and I'm looking for a way to make possible
to add new kits (and something other) with this program.

It's clear that the use will not be equally easy
as with the cm or the kitmanager: editers will have to do
the most work (with texture editor for ex), and give
to the 'end-user' a self installing executable:
the 'patcher' will make the necessary updates to the database.

Yes.
Reinstall your Fifa12 in the standard folder...

cprogram files\origin games (ect.)

or in a reasonable, predictable folder...

cfifa12
cea sport\fifa12
c program files\fifa12
dfifa 12

The application can't do an 'universal' search without incurring
false positives on drive c and/or harming the performance for all other ...

Considering that these problems do not exist for those who bought the
original version of the game... I would say that this kind of problems can no
longer be considered a priority.

I have a trick to tackle the problem : wrongly locate fifa 12 path . Maybe it works perfect with me, maybe not for others, but you can try. In my situation, i used a fifa 2012 retail version, so it doesn't have a reg file. So I creat a reg file for it. However, you must make sure to change your "install dir" for appropiate folder in your computer. You can check by type "regedit" in "Run", and you can delete and back up some keys if need to run this wonderful software. I guess this tool checks regedit for the folder path so you need start from here do temporary fix. Sorry for my bad english.
