Mit diesem Tool könnt ihr bequem die Fifa 12 Demo installieren OHNE Fifa 11 deinstallieren zu müssen oder eure Registry Einträge zu zerstören. Somit habt ihr immer die Option eine saubere Deinstallation von Fifa 11 und der Fifa 12 Demo durchzuführen, grade im Falle von Fifa 11 ist das ganz nützlich, da ihr so eine der erlaubten fünf Kopien wieder zurückbekommt.

Getestet wurde es bei mir unter Windows 7 x64, es sollte mit allen x64 Versionen problemlos funktionieren. x86 ist ungetestet und geschieht auf eigene Gefahr

This tool allows you to switch between Fifa 11 and Fifa 12 Demo by renaming the Registry entries.

If you want a clean uninstall of Fifa 11 or Fifa 12 Demo, you can always switch back to the original registry values, thus making a clean uninstall. Don't forget, if you uninstall Fifa 11, you will get one of your five allowed installations back.

ALso useful if you use the various tools for Fifa 11 or Fifa 12 Demo like database editors, kit importers and stuff.

Disclaimer: This software is provided "as is". I have only tested this tool on my system (Windows 7 x64) and it should work fine on all x64 Operating Systems. x86 is untested, use at your own risk.

Just to clarify: I know there is a method with the regfile. I just don't wanted to lose my installation info. I tried the other method, after uninstalling the demo, Fifa 11 was still installed, but unusable. That's why I wrote this tool.

It doesn't seem to work on Win 7 x86, but fortunately it is possible to re-install or uninstall both the demo and FIFA 11 without this tool. You just need the original autorun.dat from the FIFA 11 disc.

Somebody told me that 2 dll's were missing. I just updated the tool and it should work without the dll's now.

If you used the "demofix.reg" file to install the demo and you want to uninstall everything (FIFA 11 and FIFA 12 demo) now:

1. insert the FIFA 11 disc with the original autorun.dat file on it.
2. uninstall the game using EAsetup.exe on the FIFA 11 disc.
3. remove the FIFA 11 disc.
2. uninstall FIFA 12 demo normally from the "Add or remove programs" menu.

That worked for me.

You can also uninstall it by manually creating a .reg file similar to demofix.reg to switch back to the FIFA 11 entries. I suppose that's what this tool does as well...

Now obviously that doesn't work either because of that registry gimmick, the computer confuses Fifa 11 and fifa 12. What the hell am I supposed to do now?? I want to uninstall both fifa 11 and fifa 12 demo.

That's the point, I can't uninstall neither fifa 11 or fifa 12 demo. When I go to Add/ remove and click uninstall fifa 11 it tells me that the folder is wrong or something like that. I installed fifa 11 from the disc again and still nothing.
Isn't there a registry fix to make it go back to normal? Since screwing with the registry was what brought these problems to begin with.

You must get rid of the FIFA12_EU or FIFA12_NA folder before running EAsetup.exe. Otherwise it will recognize the other autorun.dat from the demo files.

I did all that and still nothing... also tried to move the fifa 12 folder around and didn't work.
Isn't there some sort of regfix that makes the computer go back to the way it was before installing the demo? Or if I were to simply delete both games folders and then just mess around with the registry, would that uninstall the games or would they still be on the system?
