FIFA 10 not running smoothly after reinstall

I had to reinstall FIFA 10 but strangely the game (clean, no add-ons installed) does not run smoothly anymore. The game is stuttering, not much but enough to annoy me. My PC requirements are more than sufficient for this game and everything worked absolutely fine before.
I uninstalled my graphics card drivers and then reinstalled them but no change.

My PC specs:
CPU Model
Intel Core 2 Quad
Video Card
GeForce 9800GT 512 MB, drivers version 180.70
Motherboard
DP35DP
Ram
DDR3 4 GB
Windows XP SP3 installed

Any ideas?

Edit: Found a solution. I forgot that I had edited cfg_pc_h file. Could moderators please delete this thread?

FIFA 2010 runs smoothly on Windows 7.It is time to change.Also update yours DX drivers ,check your nVidia Control panel.
