FIFA 08 Demo Troubles (merged threads)

Ok, so i installed the demo, and when i click on Easetup.exe when it tries to download it says "Windows Installer Services could not be accessed".
When i try to click on the game, the screen goes black and turns into the 600x400 screen and i think its gonna go to the game, but it goes black and to the desktop about 3 times then stops! What the hell is the problem.
BTW- i have Vista, and please dont tell me it doesnt work on vista
I also have Nvidia GeForce 7600 card, but i think that works.
Help!!!;(

first thing to try would be to make sure your video card drivers are up to date.

I did, and it didnt do anything, still no go.
WTF is the problem, im really pissed now.

Must be a problem with your graphics card, download the demo expander and set it to lower graphics, then start the game

Which os are you running on, cause it may have problems with vista, try the Right click/properties/compatibility/run this program in compatibility mode for win 98 or xp
except that i don't know what could solve your problem.

i was dying to play this and now this happesns...

i have intel 64mb chipset. intel 8285G graphics controler to be specific.

I have downloaded the Demo and now it says that the application is not compatible with win32.
Please help becoz it feels terrible after downloading it for 6 hours.

tell me something....the game doesnt look much different from 07 so graphics shouldnt be much a problem???

My PC @ work has no graphics card but will run '07 (don't ask what I'm doing with Fifa @ work ) but '08 won't load either. No such worries for my modest Radeon 9250 at home, though. My best guess would be an unsupported chipset/driver combination.

Me too im having the same problem i already tested with 2 graphic cards the ATI 320M and Nvidia MX 4000, i know that the mx cardst arent supported however the game could work or at least start has anybody found a solution ?
