I guess it's not truly slavery because modders are not forced to work full time against their will in order to create their mods. However, just like slaves, most video game modders are not rewarded for their time and hard work which is wrong on so many levels. I don't know what motivates modders to invest so much time into their mods if they're not rewarded for it in some way or another. I would do it for myself, but not for others if I'm not rewarded for it. Imagine having a full time job with a yearly salary of $0. Meanwhile employed game developers like me earn thousands of dollars each month.
I'm an electronic engineer, a web designer, a graphic designer and a computer programmer.. but I would never create or remaster video games for free. I wouldn't do it for less than $24000 a year. It's important to value yourself, your time and your hard work no matter what you do for a living.

Its called a “Hobby”. We mod FIFA for the same reason we go on a hike. We dont get paid for hiking, do we? It does cost a lot time.
And just like hiking, no-one expects to earn money for making mods, even tho we spend so much time on it.

For example: Most mod sellers use YouTube for advertising. Can we influence this? Is it possible to ban a YouTube channel for selling other people's mods? Does anyone have similar experience?

Has anyone here ever worked with fifa 13 scoreboards and pop ups? I need help adjusting fifa 13 scoreboards and pop ups into a small scale for the ps vita. I just discovered fifa 15 on the ps vita used fifa 13 pc scoreboards and pop ups .
After testing the fifa 13 pc scoreboards and pop ups , they worked on the PS VITA, however they do not show up.

Yes, I shared my online friend's Free FIFA 07 Patches after I asked his approval to do so.

1. He's not even having ads on any of his youtube videos
2. I am not asking for money for sharing my friend's patches with his consent
3. He is also not asking for money for his patches.
4. All of his Patches are free.

So, what's the problem here?

I think I'm being enormously helpful by sharing his free patches in here. Modders may hate the competition (?) but the true fans of this game are nothing but grateful for these Free Patches.

Read article 11. Its states that putting youtube links arent allowed.

I shared some youtube links in here in order to help someone in this thread who asked for this FIFA 07 2021 Patch; I did not share download links.
Now I deleted the youtube links however my intention was only to help someone in here who asked for this Free Patch because the original link is not good anymore.
I did ask the original creator of this FIFA 07 2021 Patch permission to share his free patches in here. He gave me his permission to share only the youtube links of his free patches. So there's that.

He's not using this Platform anymore probably because of users like yourself.
Those Patches are 99% his own work and 1% Dmitri's work. He's using only a few faces that Dmitri "stole" (if you like that word so much) from FIFA 22 and his Full HD resolution plugin. There's much more to his latest patch than a couple of faces and a resolution plugin: Over 20 000 footballers which he created manually one by one, thousands of minifaces/photos of the footballers which he also created mostly manually, thousands of kits and minikits which he also created manually, flags, adboards, new managers from 2022, new background wallpapers from FIFA 22, new Soundtrack from FIFA 22, hundreds of new real faces, new intros from FIFA 22, all the teams and leagues from FIFA 22 (and much more) updated to august 2022; not to mention about all the tournaments from real life in career mode which are not at all easy to create in such an old game. He's clearly the only modder who works on FIFA 07 Patches Full Time, at least 8 hours a day, for free, and I respect that. How about trying to respect his dedication and hard work instead of blaming him for using a couple of things which Dmitri uploaded publicly for everyone to use for free? And lastly, you can't steal something which is free; It's not called stealing if you use something which is shared by it's creator with everyone online for free. It's like creating and uploading a public meme online then get mad at people for using your meme. Total BS. Try to behave like a man, not like a kid who doesn't want anyone to touch his toys after he gave them away for free.

You keep giving away that you never been in a video game modding scene and you dont know the basic rules every game modding scene has. You should know that its a rule that using someone’s files in your mod without permission is not a good thing to do. I appreciate FIFA07Pro’s work. What i dont appreciate is using Dimitri’s files without permission (even tho its just 1% of the whole mod) and making a simple yet not pleasant procedure of download.
