Windows 10 64bit and Alcohol 120% aren't the best friends...
I placed the DVD with the game in my computer, installed it, changed admin rights to Windows 8 as it's an old game and Windows 10 is not that friendly on older games, I launch the game which it does, perfectly, without any issue.
Than I copy paste the content of the compressed files I downloaded here, uncompressed it, and place everything under the data folder.
I launch the game, everything is changed / updated, and I play. I see a lot of new players, changes, etc... So it works.
From time to time, I save my progression through the game in the game. When I reload that game, it always bringing me back to the beginning of the season.

BUT...

I'm trying to figure out why you have this issue. I'm just trying to help.
I noticed that you didn't delete your previous saves from This PC > Documents > FIFA 07. Those saves (that FIFA 07 folder with the Profile and Saves from Documents) must be deleted in order for the patch to work properly. You can see the installation tutorial of the FIFA 07 PC game that I have and the installation tutorial of the patch in the video below.
And.. I still think you may have a different version of FIFA 07.

Waiiiiiiiit waiit waiit.. did you just say that you place everything under the data folder? Then you didn't install the patch correctly. After you install the FIFA 07 PC game you have to delete the original data folder then extract my 2021 patch in the same folder where your FIFA 07 PC game has been installed. Then you need to delete your previous FIFA 07 Profile/Saves from This PC > Documents > FIFA 07. Delete the entire FIFA 07 folder from Documents.

Once again, the installation tutorial (although you should rather watch the video tutorial instead) :

Installation:
Step 1: Install properly (with daemon tools) the FIFA 07 PC game on your computer.​

Step 2: Go to the folder where your FIFA 07 game has been installed and delete the original folder 'data'!​

Step 3: Move or copy this 2021 patch in the same folder where your FIFA 07 game has been installed and then extract it there with winrar. Now fifa07-bigfat is your new crack. Lastly make sure you don't have a FIFA 07 folder in This PC -> Documents; If you do have a FIFA 07 folder in Documents, you need to delete it or move it.​

If you skip any of these steps, the patch won't work (properly)..​

So that basically means that there are files from the original FIFA 07, that aren't needed anymore in the patch, otherwise clicking on the button "replace all files" would mean that the patch worked.
That was kinda my mistake on my end.

In this autumn I will release the "FIFA 22 Patch" for FIFA 07. I am actually working on 2 different versions.. First I'm working on updating this 2021 february patch.. and the second "FIFA 22 Patch" is having all the leagues and teams from FIFA 21.. the players having the exact same attributes as in FIFA 21. After the FIFA 22 PC database/squad files will be shared online, I will change the attributes of the players with the ones from FIFA 22.

hey, i have a problem, i installed the game properly your instructions and yet i have a problem where it crashes with ntdll.dll error which is sadly the same problem i have with FIFA before FIFA 07 as well. Any fix for it?

The problem is with your Windows 10 (?). I'm assuming you have Windows 10, right?
Search for ntdll.dll error in youtube or google to find a way of fixing it. This may help you, I'm not sure. I've never heard of this error but for sure there's something wrong with your windows if you're getting this error.

yup, Windows 10 and that's funnily not an upgrade from Win 7 to 10, but fresh install of Windows 10 after mobo swap recently

and sadly the internet fixes i've tried don't work, specially, re-registering as i found out that fix was a hoax by MS "experts" who falsely claim it to be done.

well, guess i'm looking at 3 options - reset or reinstall Windows 10 and just using Windows 7 virtual machine

after i looked for some ideas, i found this tidbit provided by my repairman...it turns out that MS changed something in ntdll.dll that broke the functionality of several old games. So that means i have to use virtual machine to make it run properly now.

Nah.. I'm thinking about creating new commentaries for this FIFA 07 Patch.. but it takes a lot of time. It would take me at least a month to finish; to make the commentators calling the players' names.

convert? Hmm.. I wouldn't say 'Convert'. Basically I would have to record with Audacity every commentary that I need.. (from anywhere.. but maybe it's best to record from newer FIFA games like FIFA 22 or FIFA 21) and then I will have to replace the old commentaries from FIFA 07 with these new commentaries that I record. One by one. You would need Sound Master 07 to replace the old commentaries with new commentaries. It takes time to record and then replace every commentary one by one.
Maybe it's an easier way to get the commentaries from newer FIFA games.. There must be some audio folder but most likely the commentaries from newer FIFA games have a different format so I'll have to change the format of each commentary that I need.

I can't find the audio files in FIFA 21. Do you know what program you need to export the audio files from FIFA 21? If I can get the audio files that I need (player calls) from FIFA 21, it would not take me too much time to convert them for FIFA 07 if I don't have to record them from playing the FIFA 21 game. I'll figure it out how to convert them for FIFA 07. There are plenty of tutorials on youtube if I don't know how to convert them..

I've never tested it.. but my hispanic subscribers said the patch is compatible with the spanish language.
