Fifa 06 Randomly Crashes During Games!!!

I have FIFA 06 PC-CD version (bought in CANADA). I installed the patch and I've installed the newest drivers for my graphic card (nVIDIA GeForce 6200), my soundcard (onboard Realtek AC'97) and even for my Logitech Dual Action Gamepad... I also have DirectX 9.0c installed... but I still get a massive bug when I'm playing... It randomly crashes and bring me back to the desktop during games!! :nape:

I did the error-checking on my hard disk, defrag, cleanup, etc... I've closed all the user task except explorer.exe, taskmgr.exe, etc... It still bugs and bring me back to the desktop 50% of the time... maybe more!! It's weird because the game runs very nicely except that... the graphics are great and the sound is very good too. The other weird thing is that it really bugs randomly like it can bug after 5min of playing or 2min before the end of the game.

Please help me!!! THIS BUG IS VERY ANNOYING!!

Thanks in advance!

P.S.: Very dissapointed by EA Sports on this FIFA game since I saw that ALOT of players are experiencing major bugs!!! I feel like we're getting **** by them since they didn't release a patch to resolve these MAJOR BUGS :hump: !

Hi,

You are most likely having driver issues. What drivers are you using? For the 6200, you may want to try an older driver, like the 81.98. Did you fully clean out your previous driver before installing the new driver? Did you try dirvercleaner? You could also have a weak power supply or have heat issues. Can you list the +3.3, +5, and +12 amps on your PSU?

Might be a problem with your RAM memory. FIFA 2002 back when I had it kept crashing and it turned out to be the RAM, something to do in the BIOS setting for the RAM.
