For the same reason they missed the last weeks transfers, the job was done and many database editors worked overtime to include the last minute transfers that went on the last day of the transfer period (31/8/2005)

Unfortunately the suits (the decision makers from marketing and management) decided to release the game ahead of shedule (without notifying the database, kit and other stuff makers and testers btw), because rumours of PES5 being released early began to circulate, so it was literally rushed out the door, using an outdated database of 24/8/2005.

Why they didn't include the updated database (the job is done!) in the patch, is beyond me also.

The patch doesnt fix my p2500 joypad like they said it would, now my analog sticks dont work, well one does, the other doesnt
