Hey, What about the new graphic cards, like Radeon X850 ?
I've read that XBOX 360 will be using ATI graphics. Won't they produce graphic cards to handle the new games ?

Getting a new graphics card is ok, but trust me, unless you intend to buy new peripherals, memory and probably one of the latest processors to go along with it, the pc graphics will in no way look near as good as the next gen console graphics.

No, actually the current gen version of the game has more features and new stuff than any FIFA ever released.

pfft, the proof is in the pudding and EA's track record is absolutly abysmal :jambo:

They will need to work a miracle to win back the legions of fans they have lost to Konami's games, including me.

i never really understood why people would buy a 2000$ comp to play games instead of a 300$ console?

i mean maybe for fps games but not for sports

You. Are. A. Fool. :fool: :fool:

I meant that computers can be used for things like work, internet ect., while systems have only one use...games. Why buy something new that only is used for games when you already have a computer that works just as well, AND has other functions? it's stupid.

As for the editing part, flawless games are rare.

PS. You're a fool.

We must remember the main feature of a PC over a console. Your can upgrade pcs, you can't upgrade consoles. Also, If the consoles could do everything a pc could they would cost the same. You get what you pay for in the computing world if you buy right.

I agree that the next gen consoles are awesome with there power rivalling my pc which is no slouch when it comes to gaming, it can run all the latest games with the highest graphics, however i'm not going to buy a new pc to play these next gen games, all I'd have to do is buy a new component for my PC.

Also, in the next few months a new breed of processors are being released, the Dual Core processors which will out power the next gen power by a country mile. There is also the issue of RAM, With my PC I can upgrade to my hearts content to a maximum of 6 Gig if I a) had the money and b) wanted to in the first place.

These are just my views :)

cheers,
Dave

It seems that next gen graphic cards are coming out by the end of this year. What I dont know if they mean by next gen the same tech as new consoles or just another name for marketing (with some new features of course).

Any way ... will fifa be compatible with the new next gen graphics cards for pc ? I dont think so...since they need to make it more or less standart for compatibity issues.

Are we sure that these screenies are from in game shots? Or is it just another cool video that they are showing us?

Well, I think EA has to make a game that can work on older machines also. I was very surprised to find out a computer I bought three years ago can run Fifa 2005. So It's nice to play on my desktop when somebody in my family is hoggin the newer laptop.

Not that with Konami. I bought my laptop last november, and I can hardly run PES demo. So for that, I don't play PES. Sure, my laptop is cheaper one on the market, but atleast it should be able to run games that are coming out now!!!

and no, laptops are not made for games...so it doesnt mean it should be able to run games that are out now.

Of course they will make computers able to take the next gen games... if they didn't, computer sales would drop for the actual computer and a lot of the components... that's for all next gen games, not just fifa....

Yeh, he's right, we complain about the gameplay and the like, but we know and they know as well that they aren't going to conform to what we want, they are making the game to make money. Which i suppose is fair enough. They don't do their job to do us a service as such, they are their to try and be the best game on the market in its apepal to its customers. The problem lies with us, we are still caught off guard by the astonishing graphics that EA keep on producing year in year out. It's their biggest selling point for their games they wouldn't sacrifice the graphics on a machine that can handle them. That would be foolish :fool: :D
