Bernd

I made an update. It should support 64-Bit systems now and the option to maximize the window.

Please try again with this version, $ido.

The update should be installed automatically, if not, redownload the tool from the website.

Hm, I tried it with Win 7 64-Bit now (started by rightclick --> start as admin), if I click on New Big I can see all textures. I couldn't reproduce your problem yet :(

Which version of the .Net-Framework have you installed?

Bernd: I have a problem when i exported .dds. I change it but when i want to save it again in Photoshop it tell me that Image width and heigh must be multiple of 4. and I check..the image are 1024 x 128. What's wrong?:)

PS: anyway, you made a great tool for scoreboard. ;) Thanks for all your effort and for the IDEA ;)

@Elevation75: Does the PNG import and export work for you?
I don't know what's going on with photoshop, sorry.

@Bernd: nope...i try to do with png ..but it crash my fifa..after the pop-up of tactical for host team. :(
Your software was updated yet...but same problem.

I was trying just to modify the tv logo for Greek league...
Anyway another scoreboard made with your application worked like charm. But no exported dds/png. Just change position of or the text colour.

PS: is important to do a fifa regenerate after we exported .dds/png? I wil try now to see if I had a (+) result ;)

Bernd

Youth Team
You imported a finished png I think?
Try to export a png open it with photoshop, edit ist and import it again. Perhaps the other textures hat the wrong size or something like that. Regenerating should not be necessary. Only once.

Youth Team
@Bernd: I exported the .png" for tv logo ...in photoshop...changed with another png...save it and imported in u app. Starting fifa...and crash. Only for that overlay. Others scoreboard overlays work good.

I got your files. The png file has the wrong size. It has to be 1024*128. Yours is 256*128.
So export a correct file and paste your png file in it and save it with the corret size.

Hey Bernd, great to see that tool finally released! :33vff3o: ...awesome work mate, and im honored that i could contribute.

And yeah, there are some flaws in the tool but i dont think that they are "easy" or even possible to get rid of, since they are more a fifa11 problem than that of the tool. For instance the preview. It just cant replace a taskswitch to fifa11, but its good to keep an eye on what you're changing.

The x y positions of the sb-elements also can be tricky in some cases. Sometimes the values seems to be not really full "pixels". I used the add to all y feature and selected a really high number. Turns out that the timertext moved way more out of line than the rest of the text elements the higher the number got. This however should be impossible since the elements should all adabt the same y changes. My guess is, that the pixel scale is tempered with on other parts of the scoreboard that we cant really understand (yet). But i guess its something inside the fifa11-scoreboards that cant be figured out by approaching it from the hexing-end as we have to. So its not 100% fool-proof but for any editor with the will to create a scoreboard its a real blessing. Its easy and quick to use. Simply any scoreboard can from now on be created by everyone and im glad that i was a part of it :-)

As for the import of other scoreboards of mine. Yes, not all of them are combatible with this tool since some are made with an older hex approach than the one this tool is based on. There are changes made on values the tool doesnt know. Thats because with the ZDF scoreboard that this tool is based on i changed a lot of things that where diffrent in the scoreboards i did before. Its simply done cleaner. So dont be confused by wrong imports of older SBs of mine too much.

@ Bernd

Just want to thank you ;), the tool is really working great, don't really need the preview
because as you said working while running the game is very easy. I made the Ligue 1
scoreboard for long names just as a try and everything worked fine except one thing:

I wanted to move the full scoreboard up, so I added -10 on the left and added it to
all y-values and everything went up except the timer (not texture). So I tried to decrease the
y-value of the timer but everytime it stays at the same place.

Bernd

Youth Team
Hey, can you upload your big file and send it to me per PM? I will take a look at it and try to change the position of the timer.
Best thing would be if you make a screenshot and mark the position, where you want to have the timer.

I know that the change-all-option works for all elements except the timer. I think the timer position is relativ to another element.

Hey man. This tool is really great. I have a question.
How do you put the ID for a special league?. I mean where you find the ID for a particular league?. I'm working in the Bolivian League and i need to know what number asign.
Thanks in advance.

Bernd

Youth Team
Default: overlay_2002.big
France: overlay_3002.big
Germany: overlay_4002.big
Italy: overlay_5002.big
Spain: overlay_6002.big

So Bolivian should be Default (overlay_2002.big).
