As for the comment ciobanu' made did you really expect him not to? It is very easy to predict what he's gonna say next because he's developed a clear pattern of stupidity in the past few years.

well the official formation said he'll be on the left but mostly he played in a more central position, behind the strikers.
Surdu had some good touches aswell.

Rada makes it 1-0 with a header in '65!! we've been dominating Vaslui most of the match.
final time, good performance by the boys, we just had bad luck. also, Surdu hit the crossbar with a header.

The only positive thing I can see about the match tomorrow is that we've never lost in Ghencea against English opposition (4 wins, 1 draw). Every other pore in my body screams "we're gonna get trashed"

My God we dominated the second half like I haven't seen Steaua dominate since the Protasov years. It would of been the most unfair result in history if we somehow finished this game without 3 points.

What cracked me up is how the Dacia players felt so "robbed" the entire game even though that was pretty much perfect refereeing the entire game. Neither one of our goals was offside, not even close, and both red cards were deserved.

I'm glad we got the victory though, this is great for the morale of the squad and the fans, at least in my opinion.

One more positive out of this game is that next matchday we'll finally get to see what we look like without either Petre or Lovin out there, I'm excited.

Another postponed match in Liga 1 (:/), I understand the reasoning behind it but I still don't agree with it. This means our next match is against Sevilla.

It looks like Goian will be heading out at the end of this year . Apparently Man City are the front runners with a €10 million offer.

So it looks like Pedrazzini is looking to start Nicolita on the left to try and block some of the attacks that Sevilla creates on that wing with Alves and Navas. With that in mind what do you guys think the starting line-up will look like?

I haven't heard anything about Golanski lately but if he's fit then I want him back and in there. I think him and Surdu could be a special pairing on the right wing. Nicolita on the left wing would be the right move in my opinion since he has played very well there this season. Emeghara, Rada and Goian are all locks. Petre has played well recently in that closing mid role so he should and probably will get the start. Dica played well in that central mid role against Arsenal, opening play left and right and coming forward when it was needed. Iacob and Badea are our most dangerous tandem in attack at this point I think. Sure Iacob missed that terrible chance against Arsenal but he scored twice against Mioveni and then twice more in a friendly so he's in form and we all know when Iacob gets in form there's no stopping him unless he gets injured.

I really think the team has been playing much better and more organized football since Pedrazzini took over the head job and I think we're gonna get a very positive result in Seville this Tuesday. The team is rested, the manager has had two weeks to come up with the winning game plan and I have a really good feeling overall about this game.

I'm gonna go ahead and say it. Final score, Sevilla 1-2 Steaua with Iacob and Dica scoring.

Golanski and Lovin are both injured or so I've heard. I'd go with that line-up, with the exception that Pedrazzini surely won't be using Banel on the left, maybe switch between him and Surdu or Cristocea/Neaga instead of the latter.

Interesting if true, Croitoru was just pushed to the end of the bench after that bad performance early in the season which was unfair imo, he's got the qualities to be a good player for us in the center of midfield.

They're embarrassing themselves out there. We look like an amateur team in every single way.

What this first half has made me realize more than anything is what many Steaua fans have been saying all along, no manager, not even Mourinho could win with the squad of players we have at the moment. They're too slow, they're not very intelligent on the field, they lack passing ability, shooting ability and many other qualities that good solid footballers have.

2-1, hah!! What a lucky result, we could have easily been crushed in this game but Fabiano missed more chances than we've had all season long. Once again though I have to give MotM to Zapata who is by far the best player on our roster next to Goian. Dica is completely out of form, probably the worst of his life and the rest of our players put together and tied with a big red bow aren't even worth a candy bar.

edit: I was harsh about Petre, he has actually been playing pretty well in his role since Lovin went out and he was there today when the ball had to be put in so I'll give him some credit as well.

We're gonna have to get something out of the home match with Sevilla, although if we play anything like we did today we will have no chance, in fact if we play like we did today against anybody we will have no chance.

You still have hopes and pretensions of going through to the last 16? I would be embarrassed if we made it there because we would be so raped it wouldn't be funny.

At this point I won't be upset if we finish the group with 4 points in third place and continue on in the UEFA Cup although the most important thing for us this season is to finish first or second in Liga 1.

But who cares if you lose 5-0 or 2-1, I mean sure it doesn't look like an embarrassment but a loss is a loss and it doesn't give you any points. We played like s*it.

I wonder if things would be different right now had we kept Elton, Thereau and Bostina...
