At European level, we won the ultimate European competition, the equivalent of today Champions League, setting up the standard as the first Eastern European team to have won this trophy.

Munteanu e la cluj?

Yeah he has made it pretty clear that he will not return for us next season which absolutely sucks major donkey balls because without him in midfield we are absolutely dead :nape:

PS: seems like we are already looking at forwards (http://gsp.ro/index.php?a=16998&shift=1) however I don't find that as our biggest problem I mean we have Oprita, Nicolita, Cristea and Dinita we need some help in midfield and definitely we gotta start lookin for a GK because seems like Tudor will leave :(.

I don't think this coach is gonna be good, he seems in it for the money... I don't think he cares enough.

Yeah I was thinking that too but then again if he wants the money he better make his ass care because Becali will dispose of him before he can even put his print on the team.

Tell me more on your opinion on Becali

I am also presuming that the new coach is an idiot cause he accepted to work under Becali :) :nape:

I don't think he even knows who/how Becali is
Anyway, I hope he will do good, winning the title with Olimpiakos means something though.

P.S.: Nice thread, Alex

Yeah I actually agree with Se7eN on this one. Hagi, Petrescu, Zenga, Munteanu, Olaroiu all rejected to coach Steaua because they know what would happen if Becali was their boss they would basically become his little bitch so what Becali did was go for foreigners who have no idea who he is so that the could pursuade them to come be the manager of his team.

Here's whats gonna happen, Steaua is gonna have a poor game one day and at the half Becali will tell Protasov to sub out the players that he thinks should be subbed out if Protasov refuses (bye bye) but if he does what Becali tells him well then he will become his bitch and we will start getting these types of results again:

Apulum - Steaua 1-1
Farul - Steaua 1-0
Poli Iasi - Steaua 0-0
Otelul - Steaua 1-0
FC National - Steaua 1-0

:nape: those are some pathetic results and throughout that horrible streak that we had Becali always made it clear after every game that he had told Zenga who to sub and what to do, if he had just let the manager do his job the championship would of never came down to the last match.

Did Steaua never have sponsors on his kits? Is this tradition, like Barca?

Steaua didn't have sponsors at all before the 1989 season. We started to have them on our kits then and still had them 3 years ago but our last two kits have been sponsor-less.

Here's the 01-02 kit:

I really liked that Adidas kit, but the Nike one looks even better. I heard that the 2005/2006 kits will have the number in the front, not only in the back. Like the Portugal NT has. I saw this in October on TV, at "Noile Echipamente Ale Stelei Pentru Sezonul Viitor" on the news

Am I the only one that finds it not surprising that Protasov hasn't signed any type of contract yet :nape:

That sounds like a bunch of bs to me and I have no idea why they keep on stalling all the time.

----

I think the case that Radoi is involved in right now is so full of s*it and Piturca can go eat horse s*it. If he does get those 6 banned games for next year I swear I will hunt Piturca down and knife him, why the hell is he complaining so much it's not like the NT is doing anything right now and adding one player wouldn't make much of a difference especially when he's injured

I doubt we'll get new kits for next season, I mean I haven't heard any type of announcement yet and our CL Qual. 2nd round match is only 30 somethin days away.
