Tello is a good finisher with a great speed, and a very good attacking movement, but he can't be very useful against 9 or 10 defenders sitting at 15 m away from goal. Good to see him doing well at Porto.

Tello was a good (fantastic really) finisher in tonight's match, but his finishing is actually the one thing in his game he needs to improve badly. I've inclusively been saying that for a while, he is a great creator but he lacks discerniment when it comes to deciding what to do with his final touch.

This hattrick tells me he's clearly been working on it though

I know, that's why it was so frustrating for us. His speed is tremendous, he did manage quite a few assists (10 so far in all competitions) but couldn't finish to save his (and our) life. Considering the amount of scoring chances he was having throughout the season, 3 goals was really short...now in one match he has doubled his tally.

I'll always remember Tello for the guy who came on late at Barca, slotting in at the left flank with Messi feeding him perfect through balls which he sometimes managed to capitalize. One trick pony if you ask me, a bit like Walcott for comparison (poor one, mind you). I haven't seen him play besides once or twice in Porto shirt during those matches I've seen. I guess he is better now.

Worse than that actually: three weeks minumum, but should be four weeks until full recovery. It's not so bad because we'll have him back for the CL QFs (assuming we beat Basel Tuesday), and more importantly for the game at the galinheiro.

You guys shouldn't worry about that CL fixture. I'm fully certain that you'll beat Basel, you've got the away goal as well. :P
