I know he's pretty good there, but we have more than enough quality midfielders.

And speaking about the midfield, I would definitely promote Castro to the Moutinho role. I see Herrera (if he actually joins us) being a sub this season, in fact he might need a season to adapt to the club, city and league like it usually happens with newcomers.
Castro deserves the chance, besides being a great player he is a product from our youth teams and has continually demonstrated to be a die-hard Porto fan. Yeah that's what I'm saying, Castro a presidente! (H)

I am, but I'm also 100% serious about this. I really hope PF gives him the chance he's been deserving for a long time now.

But it's like I tell you. I do rate Castro highly and would love to see us making a solid bet on his talent.

BTW it's not much but it might give other people an idea about how he plays, his best moments during the last season (he had 20 games, only 5 as a starter) are featured in the first 15 minutes of this video:

I'd be willing to give him a fresh start here. In case his injury proneness wasn't such an issue, I think we could eventually bring him back to life...he still loves us and we love him back.


How about a back-up striker? I wouldn't hesitate in getting Ghilas.

That would be a dream, but no way he would consider coming to warm the bench...either way today PdC dismissed the rumours relating to Licha coming back so it's not happening :(

I can't believe Otamendí's release clause is only 15 fucking million €...and it seems like he's bound to go, so Reyes might have a word to say about being a starter. Maicon is proven here though, so Diego will have to wait for his turn to shine I guess.
