Yeah sure there's still a lot to play, but I'm not too hopeful. I've disliked Pereira since his presentation press conference, so I'm biased even against the (VERY) few things he's done right.

I was really suprised with Danilo playing already dont know... felt quite strange, looked like he had no more options or something.

yeah, we were 1 game away from reaching the 56-game unbeaten record set by Benfica in the 70's, I believe...what a big coincidence this was, that we failed to do it after a match filled with such "curious" events

so Lucho is back which is mighty awesome, with Belluschi and Guarín on their way to Genoa and Inter respectively I wouldn't mind picking up another midfielder...Ganso is probably way too much for our pocket though.
also Twente's Janko seems to be a strong possibility to fill in our gap at the striker department, hope he's good enough to add real quality to our attacking line.

that's cool dude, but I don't real understand deutsch..do you? :confused2:

looks like a strong header of the ball way up from his 1.96m, also seems to know what to with it on his feet.
let's see if he actually joins us, we definitely need someone that can cause an impact right away. too bad he wouldn't be eligible for european matches...

It's funny how the parallels between the Portuguese and Spanish leagues and Porto/Barça Benfica/Real are continuing from last season to this one. Unfortunately, this time it's worse for the Porto/Barça side.

Yeah, 3 "titles". But the parallels go even there, Porto also won the Supercup. (and played Barça in the European one.)

Janko's a good player i spotted him since he was in Salzburg, very skillful besides his height, clearly hes not a Kleber. just saying

it's like he never left ...what a magnificent player.

edit
btw, Danilo seems like the real deal...hopefully his performance today means no more Maicon as our RB.

Holy ****! How ******* lucky were City? Jesus ******* Christ I don't remember a team so deserving to lose actually winning a match. **** me.

Suck it, losers.

Had this been a CL match I probably would add a bit more insight, but I couldn't really be bothered. Also, I was at work and didn't get to watch the match. From what I've read though City didn't deserve to lose at all, but that came from Sky Sports and they may be a bit biased. Regardless, first home loss for Porto all season in any competition. **** ya. Welcome back Yaya.

"Maybe in foreign countries they don't expect black players"
Helton, Rolando, Alvaro Pereira, Mangala, Varela, Djalma, Alex Sandro...case rested concerning the idiocy of that statement

edit
btw I was at the stadium, and heard no racist abuses whatsoever.
It was common to hear people shouting "ó Ballotelli vai-te foder/vai pro caralho!" - which rouhgly translates into "Ballotelli, go **** yourself you cocksucker" - and that isn't by any means racism.

We played a good game overall and certainly didn't deserve to lose.
During the first half especially, we had the control of the game and created the best chances to score. City just wasn't to handle our high pressure.
The draw came out of nowhere really, and was stupidly conceded...our team kind of fell apart emotionally with it, and from then on we weren't as aggressive over the ball how we should have been.

Our best player was Fernando hands down, he was the main responsible for keeping the likes of Silva quiet enough to allow us to boss the midfield during most of the match.
Yaya was a ******* beast out there, it's amazing how gifted he is physical, technical and tactically 8|

having said that, City 1-3 Porto = doable :browsmiley:
