Phone. Super rich owners and massive club reputations should fix a lot of players leaving. Also clubs not having money at the start (which was probably your big mistake, Az); you gotta untick that box.

I did all that, but Chelsea and the likes will bid for the players and they'll leave. My idea was enforcing a transfer ban, but you can't enforce a global one, and enforcing one on every club capable of buying these players would be too much.

Chelsea won't bid for them if they don't have transfer funds. Untick this box

So they'll bid in January, which was what happened. If you want to keep thinking I'm retarded and that this is an easy fix, by all mea.s keep at it, we'll talk when you start trying it yourself.

I think I might know a way. Set a "retirement date" for them for 1 or 2 years ahead (or more). If pretty sure players with that they will not transfer before.

Or set a "transfer to club" date for every players, for them to transfer in a season (or more). This keeps them at the club too. I mean from them to go from the SG club to another random club in a year's time. This will not allow them to transfer during that 1 year wait. As far as I know this also doesn't affect performance (if it did every player would have the same advantage).

It should work because we only need them there for a season.

ps I still think you should do the new head-to-head online mode for the draft matches.

It "ruined the game" for you after the 15th season. If we get that far, it's a success.
Yeah, but it had been nagging me since earlier than that. Loads of young players were left to rot, or sold for nothing, and then we bought guys for loads more that we didn't need.

That's why I liked the idea of the Sugar Daddy coming off after a certain period - just as it did in real life. The thing is, with a well ran club, you could still make transfers etc without a sugar daddy. Look at Manchester United.

I think it ruined the story a bit, which to me was such a big part of the whole concept.

The second idea is the best - though it may mess with morale. But a transfer to club in the future (give them a contract of about three years, and a future transfer already set after that period).

I edited my post- I have had many players have future transfer's set for the end of the season and bad performances never stood out for me. I think the game doesn't weigh it that much and the players still do their job. And if I'm wrong it would be ok because every player would have this set so it would be a level field. Maybe the professionalism hidden attribute comes into play but I have this gut feeling that SI have left it out with future transfers or it doesn't weigh much.

That's a good idea. When I get time I'll try it out with the 2012 version and see if I spot anything. If that works, I think the file would be ready for uploading for anyone with FM12, although it'll take a while. 25 players in 20 teams, 500 players to change one by one.

Liverpool are supposedly interested to sign Lacina Traore in real life.

I hope his career won't go downhill like many have after signing for them.

The Puma boys did their best to supply Luch with an honorable jersey to commemorate the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution:

(I picked the absolute worst template I could find, hehe. Although I do like the detail on the right sleeve, Luch's logo.)

Air Koryo is proud sponsor of the 1917 October Revolution festivities currently going on in Vladivostok... yeah, this all makes perfect sense.
OFFER: Buy the new commemorative Luch shirt, and get a discount code on your next flight to Pyongyang!

It was a North Korean name. I still have the game on my computer!

Do you know what it was? Didn't I make it a pun?

Do you still have the save game, Alex? You were the last to play. I'd like to include the Luch all-time XI in the Hall of Fame post. My game only goes as far as October 2016.

Shifty was right about the manager's name, by the way.
