Me too. But knowing the dutch´s tending for showing off, especially during Cruyffs time, its not that hard to understand. They just wanted to give something back. Not very sportsmanlike though, but the dutchs behaviour during matches they owned, was neither. I dont even think it had something to do with an lousy hotel or Ajax supporters.
And dutch vs. germans is always...well....different.
