First thank you for giving tips, but most of the players aren´t ingame, because they are retired. And I can not use 09 Ronaldo for a 2002 patch. He has 92 points in my patch. Look at his games in 2002 and you´ll see that he isn´t overrated (quite contrary to!). That was only an example. The players are evenly distributed from 53-94 points. I asked some other users and they don´t think that they are overrated. Have you tried the Soviet Union patch? They are overrated. They have much more skills than my teams and you know that the weren´t so good.
Real Madrid 2002 has a calculated overall from 87 points.
Bayern 2001 has a calculated overall from 84 points.
Chelsea, ManU, Barca... of this season (2008/2009) all have the same. What do you want? An 78 overall like Aston Villa? You can change the skills like you want (Creation Master).
The Barcelona patch will not have such a rating like the two teams before, because they weren´t as good as them. They didn´t won anything in 03-04 but I like them though.

Look at this and tell me what rating you´ve expected for Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos, Figo, Beckham, Zidane... in their best time:
