Fatigue

career.ini

there's some lines about how much a player... uh... fatigues (does this word exist?) each game. I guess if you put this to 0 your players will be fit like hell.

@nebulachapin: i think it's absolutely ok to cheat in manager mode. I've put the settings that way that i can't be fired because i want to PLAY seasons not my MANAGE a team. And if I'm not good enough, I'll playin second division in the next year. Without cheating I can't do that because I would get fired! That's stupid for a non-manager game, isn't it?

Thanks Biebrich

I wouldn't say it's cheating, just taking out a feature that isn't polished enough for my liking. Cristiano Ronaldo got tired after his first game. :kader:

Ok, I give up, where is career.ini ?

In the FIFA 07 fíle is config.dat, you have to open that with filemaster and export career.ini which is only a simple wordpad text file. look up what you need, it's commented (every line starting with // is not script but comment). Then save it and import it back to config.dat

Alright thanks. Any idea why my filemaster is screwing up then? I had the newest one installed but the Filemaster install HAD to have 1.1 installed so I installed it. Now when I start up filemaster I get:

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Process id=0x4f4 (1268), Thread id=0x6a0 (1696).

Click OK to terminate the application.
Click CANCEL to debug the application.

Somewhere in this forum I read about the same but don't remember where. It's annoying I know, but FileMaster works (the one for 06 too by the way) so maybe you have to install it new.

I just installed it now. It wouldn't work with the latest .net so I installed 1.1 and it installed. Then I got that error, so I tried reinstalling the latest .net and I still get the error.

I'll try searching the forum.

if you edit those it should be ok:

// How much fatigue impacts player attributes at different levels.
FATIGUE_ATTRIB_5 = -10
FATIGUE_ATTRIB_4 = -8
FATIGUE_ATTRIB_3 = -6
FATIGUE_ATTRIB_2 = -3
FATIGUE_ATTRIB_1 = -0

// What attributes fatigue impacts
FATIGUE_AFFECTS_BALANCE = 1
FATIGUE_AFFECTS_CROSSING = 1
FATIGUE_AFFECTS_DRIBBLING = 1
FATIGUE_AFFECTS_HEADING = 1
FATIGUE_AFFECTS_LONGBALLS = 1
FATIGUE_AFFECTS_MARKING = 1
FATIGUE_AFFECTS_PASSING = 1
FATIGUE_AFFECTS_REFLEXES = 1
FATIGUE_AFFECTS_RUSHING = 1
FATIGUE_AFFECTS_SHOTACCURACY = 1
FATIGUE_AFFECTS_SHOTPOWER = 1
FATIGUE_AFFECTS_STAMINA = 1
FATIGUE_AFFECTS_STRENGTH = 1
FATIGUE_AFFECTS_TACKLING = 1

just set everything to 0. the fatigue is there, but has no effect on the game.
if you want to do it better, look for all lines that have "fatigue" in it, like

INDIVIDUAL_FATIGUE_MINUS_LARGE = -10
INDIVIDUAL_FATIGUE_MINUS_MED = -7
INDIVIDUAL_FATIGUE_MINUS_SMALL = -3
INDIVIDUAL_FATIGUE_PLUS_SMALL = 3
INDIVIDUAL_FATIGUE_PLUS_MED = 6
INDIVIDUAL_FATIGUE_PLUS_LARGE = 8

I'm not sure about that stuff but I guess If you put everything to 0 it should be ok.
Oh, and that's important, too:

FATIGUE_START_AT = 10

This should be 0 of course, too.

Maybe should be better if someone that know about it, makes a patch that reduces the impact of the fatigue... Not just "erase it".

That's the values the fatigue is calculated with. So I guess that someone who knows about this wouldn't do much different (I don't know what every ofg these values mean, but they mostly increase and decrease the fatigue). And he didn't want reduction, he wanted to be completely fatiguefree.

I understand that he wanted that, and I appreciate your reply.
I'm just saying that I would like to have non a fatigue-free game but a less-fatigue one.
