Extracting DB

I'm trying again. Let's see... I DID IT ! I had to creare a "fake" fifa 12 folder, copied inside it the fifa 13 main folder...then finally FM12 seemed to work. I just extracted the two db files in another folder. Now i'm going to erase them from the database, save it, then replace it with the default one. THen what ? XD Should i put the edited db files inside the db folder and regenerate, right ?

You put the newly extracted db files in a folder, name it "db" and put it in the data folder, yes. FYI, whenever you edit the db, you don't have to regenerate. Regenerating is only necessary when editing the big files or adding a new product file, etc.

My db gets overwritten by the game every time I play, any ideas why that would happen considering I'm not even playing online?

What does that mean? What happens exactly?

I made a change to a stadium (edited goal net depth), saved the database, tried reloading it to make sure the change was saved (t was), loaded the game and my change was not visible, reloaded database after closing game and the change is no longer there, almost like the game had reset my values.

DBM 12 is bugged and it doesn't always save edits if you try to edit in the program itself, but that's a new one on me...?? I always export the tables, edit in excel, then import and save. Never had an issue doing it that way; seems to be the only way to guarantee your edits stick.

I was using bernd DB editor, will try some other ways but i guess you are saying there is no way the game could overwrite the db!

I've been using DBM 12 with FIFA 12 for a year and have never seen anything like that. Did you delete the db files from the data0.big folder? Can't think of what else to ask.
