it was posted on UEFA's Twitter on April 1, so I thought it was actually a decent April's Fool joke that I missed seeing earlier this year ... but it looks like they really are going to create a convoluted system to basically allow 16 teams get a second bite at the EURO 2020 qualification cherry ... and how the Nations League (which would lack any real significance) replacing friendlies makes any sense, I don't know ...

What the fuck? I don't even understand it and I'm not sure I want to. Is this somehow going to mean MORE internationals? And relegation in NTs? How would that work and how would that promote sports in lesser nations? What would happen if Andorra suddenly had an influx of superstars but were stuck in the 4th division? Would anyone fucking watch matches where Andorra-Gibraltar was the apex?

Having Division D teams potentially qualify via the anal method for a EURO astounds me...

Why have what are effectively TWO qualification tournaments?

Why does group C and D have more teams than group A and B? This systems is strange. You'll have teams going up and down the divisions?
