Euro 2008...Interesting Numerology

*I'm not saying that this has any significance or suggesting anything by it. I don't believe in numerology but certain people do and they use it.

Last time Spain won Euro 2008 was in 1964

8 x 8 = 64

That's 44 years ago. 44 is what's called a hidden 8 (4 + 4=8)

The only goal was in the 33rd minute, this number has significance in numerology as well...it can be seen in the importance of the 33rd degree parallel where several 'events' have taken place during history.

I know it sounds stupid, I didn't come up with that, but maybe there's something to it. Or :clapwap:
