Couldn't agree more. It really beggars belief that City is willing to pay that much for a terribly inconsistent striker who wasn't a regular in the Heerenveen starting line-up. But it weakens Heerenveen further and being a Groningen fan I quite enjoy Heerenveen losing it's frontline.

Stam is joining Ajax Good signing for Ajax I think, I'd have liked him to come back to PSV. He did got owned vs. PSV though in the last meetings.

Well there was a pretty praising story about him in VI(one of the leading football magazines if not the leading football magazine of Holland). He's beeing loved by the NEC supporters as he scored 4 goals in 4 games. So he's off to a great start but I still have to work him out.
