I don't know, but at this stage, a Butt land would do! Our GK situation is so fucked up. Romero is horrendous. Romero can't be relied upon. He is average, has hardly played in the last 2 years in mediocre teams and his distribution is pretty bad.

3 clean sheets and it's all becausd Romero is wonderful? The defense consists of just a Goalkeeper according to your thinking. Romero has done nothing spectacular and has made a costly mistake. The saves that he has made so far would have been saved by any Championship goalkeeper also. He looks shaky.

I think Romero's been good so far but yeah that's not enough to gamble on him for the entire season. Pleased you are keeping de gea, I love Rafa but fuck the way real do business. You took a chance on de gea when he was young and persevered with him during those shakey first few months and I think he owes you at least enough loyalty to wait for a decent price and buyer who is willing to be serious

I definitely agree. I think he should sign a contract and stay 1 or 2 more years then leave. He cost us the title in one of the seasons with some costly mistakes.

But however, there is a women involved. As I say all the time, Edurne is destroying his football life. He should ditch her for good.

Forcing him to sign a contract or play on would be counterproductive I think, but he's a great player and you should get a fair price and a deal done in time for you to arrange a replacement

He'll definitely play I think, him and van gaaal will come to some sort of arrangement by which he plays, they don't speak to each other and they sort out a sale/replacement in jan. If he fucks up in a couple of games though there could be problems, potential even for accusations of deliberate sabotage!

It will be hard for him to play in this situation. Ronaldo's last season with United was not as good as the season before because he had already set his mind on moving the season after and an arrangement was already made. He was not focussed.

De Gea's situation is much more challenging for him because he has not signed a contract and almost joined Real Madrid. The media will make it incredibly challenging for him. I don't know how he will be able to focus. He may not be that motivated to play that well.

EDIT: I would have preferred if De Gea was gone and we got Navas.

Very boring deadline day in the end. No major transfers happened like Muller to man U or De Gea to Madrid. Martial 36 millions to Man U despite the fee does not count because he is an unknown.
