EA wants researchers to help with FIFA 2005

Yes I think they are asking who the best players are in eurpoe and outside of europe at the respected positions.

I don't think you get paid but it sound like a good opportunity to make sure the player ratings mean something (not all the players play the same way) and the players have correct skill attributes.

How big is YOUR penis?
They should research it themself . . .

I mean, what`s next ? EA wants kitmakers to volunteer makin` them 2000 kits for the game . . . :|

What EA want?

I don't understand?
Why they want us, they are 100 or 200 people in their staff who
made FIFA 2004.
And finally : bad gameplay, not cup as CHAMPION LEAGUES, UEFA, International competition, not possibilities to configure gamepad, bugs, etc.
If they ask me to help their about gameplay, when i see one time the alpha version, i can tell us what is good or bad in the gameplay.
You must have a lot of capacities of players as Zidane etc but if your gameplay isn't good, you don't need all that.

The first thing that they will do, it's the GAMEPLAY.
YES I CAN HELP THEIR ABOUT THAT BUT FOR THE OTHER THING NO,IT'S NOT MY PRIORITIES.

For the moment i play with another game and the gameplay is marvelous and i don't see kits, stadiums, faces, etc.
It's in a second in the game.

Apologize to FIFA.

if they do, you get mad
if they ask for help, you get mad

if they try, you get mad
if they don't try, you also get mad

so, is there any situation where you don't get mad?

When they do what we ask them to do . . . ( improved gameplay . . . and lots of it . . . )

And so far they`ve done squat . . .

Why us? we aren't paid for this, if only they make a very good game ok, but they arent able to do that.

If finally we're sure the game will be good, i don't tell as that, but for every year and particulary this year i'm disapear by this game.

I don't believe them when they tell something now.

i dont think there's any use for posting in "request for fifa2005" unless ea really take advice from us.But anyway why they don't get the data from sport interactive, which make the champion manager game.

I think we covered all of this in a previous thread when the announcement first went up.

If you want to contribute to FIFA (not make it, just have some form of contribution towards how your favourite players/clubs are represented) then by all means apply. If you're not interested, then that is perfectly fine.

EA aren't asking for people to make the game, they are after club supporters to help add extra realism to the game by assuring that there aren't errors in future FIFA's as there have been in the past. Even if EA put together the world's best collection of football data collectors in their office, there is no way these people could know absolutely everything about every single player from every club in FIFA. This is why EA are looking for the truly passionate club fans out there who can contribute the small, yet vital, details that only a really dedicated fan would know.

Everyone wants an accurate FIFA, and this is the best way to achieve it.

Matt,

I don't think working with club supporters is fine because they are obviously not objective. They tend to see their own team as the " best in the world " or at least better as it is in real life.
I think the guys at EA Sports should work with sport reporters from big papers or big specialized web sites
To name a few :
l`Equipe ( France )
Kicker ( Germany )
Gazzetta dello sport ( Italy )
A Bola ( Portugal ) etc ...

I am talking here about rosters , players positions, tactics and players attributes which are by essence the core of a good footy game ( with gameplay of course )
These are IMO, the most important features to have right.
And they still are BIG mistakes in EA rosters that should not be there
Just an idea but you should suggest this to EA

Jomi, just a question! Do you think RSC Charleroi (Belgium) is not objective? I'm a proud supporter of this team AND I put information for EA so true supporter are objective (and not like some Real Madrid 'supporter' who think their team players must have 100 everywhere :))

I posted all the Serie-A, Bundesliga, South American players real-life skills and the way they plaeyd in real life before FIFA 2004 is releasedin that "FIFA 2004 Wishlist thread" which was made months before FIFA 2004 was released and they still put Emre, Vieri, Recoba foot settings wrong and Keown can still out paced Owen, Roberto Carlos, the goallie still can`t handle a 40 yard shots from any "sweet-scripted-goal" point in the game . . .

Anything else I should mention why I don`t wanna trust this whole "We want gamers voluntary support" bull****s again from them ???

Bonjour Cyprom,

As you maybe know , I am the guy who does the Big roster Update at Fifa CZ.
I did not say that for all supporters.
I have also remarked that the Belgium league's rosters are well made this year .( compared to other years )
I know that you made a good job for your team .
I also know the good job you are making in this community
:)
I am just saying that in general. You will agree with me that there are a lot of mistakes and teams that are other over rated ( all the English lower division teams are way too strong !!! )
the Norwegian league is a " catastrophe " altough the season was over and it was easy to pick up accurate rosters.
And so on and so on ...
It seems to me that, apart from English football and big teams the guys by EA have no ideas what the real value of football is .
It is always that " English superiority " that nerves me and the ignorance of the other leagues.

PS: Cyprom, I am trying to download the Mons and STVV shirts that you've made ( by Fifa Benelux ) but it seems that the link does not function.
Could you fix that ?

Merci et à bientôt,

Jomi

EA take us for idiot's or another thing.
It's a business society, very big society, and they need us to give them informations, statistics etc.

IF YOU GIVE ME A BETA TEST OF FIFA 2005 AND 15 OR 20 DAYS + MONEY I CAN MAKE A VERY GOOD GAME WITH THEIR BETA.
I will work 8 hours by day to do that.
I don't be able to correct the gameplay with a editor hexadecimal but for others informations i can do it.

It 's not normal that EA tell us to do this thing. IT'S THEIR JOB AND OUR MONEY.
For the database, they must take the pes 3 database, it's very simply OR or phone clubs, magazines of football.
Don't forget they have official license and they can phone uefa or fifa to have this informations.

I think that their way is doing thing that the buyers are interested by the devellopment of their game for finaly buying fifa 2005.
IT's their ultimate way, the quality isn't their principal WAY;
We'll see if there is a miracle for 2005.
I don't think but all is possible.
