THe World Cup Mode in the FIFA Online game is only going to have 32 teams, the teams that qualified.

the online game isnt looking too good, im not playing it.

I don't think Didd will be producer anymore, if we'll be we are lost, because probably he well develop the game with HB Studios, which s**ks hardly !
BTW, it sounds pretty good, at least I preffer a CG game instead of nothing (in fact, I'm not buying the game if it doesn't please me, and CG version takes part in what I've said just a little before).
My fear is that we'll can use ONLY the mouse as the controller, and I DON'T WANT TO PLAY RTS Football games !
If I couldn't use my keyboard/gamepad, this game will surely fail, because I can't believe people will want to learn to play WITH THE MOUSE.

It has been already confirmed that you can use also your gamepad and usual keyboard controls: I don't know if this will be possible with the first beta coming tomorrow, but SURELY with the open beta coming this Summer ;)
Tomorrow I will tell you if I can play with gamepad also this beta :D

I registered, too (in 28-29, in the day that it was announced), but no invitation email since 6 p.m. (GMT).
The problem is that, my gamepad is one of the MOST that are not compatible with FIFA 10, then if I use it on online the image is fading to black, the sound is workin' but as I said, the image is black, and of course I can't play, and my gamepad is "mainstream", not the worst, but it's not a 360 Wireless controller, in same time.

The game is not bad, afterall... It is a FIFA 10 game with FIFA 09 grass and FIFA 09 gameplay (no fake 360 here).
I played with the mouse because there is only mouse and keyboard in the options even if someone told me that he is using his 360 controller. Maybe my controller is not supported, I don't know!!! Mouse gameplay is not difficult to master, but it needs some practice.
The "arena" you see there, it is the place where you wait for a gamer after creating a room...

There is a section in the beta agreement on what we are allowed to reveal and it is very limited (basically we can say that we are in the beta and can offer opinions, but very little else)

It's in Terms of Agreement written so i don't think it's up to outsider to decide this. :)
