EA is bull****ting us

what they tell us about how the final version will be different from the demo that we have is complete bull****.

ea see that a lot of people are upset with the demo, and are afraid that this will hurt the sales of the game, so they lie to us and tell us that the final version of the game will have changes in it. the best we can hope for is that on the day that the game hits the stores, a patch will be available for download and fix some of the bugs, but you definitely won't see anything different from the demo that you currently have (other than sound ofcourse).

the fact is of the matter is that the demo came out roughly a month before the game is officially released for purchase, and there's no way that they are still working on the game. it's gone gold a long time ago, and is probably being copied onto cds and packaged into boxes right now. possibly it's already being shipped all over the world now.

I agree

Of course EA are giving us all crap. Do you think they would ever listen to anything we have to say? There is no way on this planet they wouldn't have everything printed, boxed and ready for distribution by now. They probably had it all donw at least two months ago. The demo is purely to whip up enthusiasm for the game, nothing more. They take in ZERO notice of what we think about the games. They have some testers etc. but if anybody thinks they ever read or take notice of emails you send you're more dillusional than that idiot who claims he works for EA.

Yep, until somebody puts out some decent competition or ISS is released on the PC (why not is a bit of a mystery, Konami would make a killing!) then EA will continue to screw everybody over but given we have hardly any choice of games we're stuck with their arrogance.

Does anybody seriously think they asked web sites to pull the demo for any reason other than becasue they didn't want to impact their sponsorship demo deal with stores like Asda who are distributing the demo with Coca Cola.

Oh well, as long as we have great patch makers we can overcome a lot of crap but you have to wonder what EA are thinking when they make a game where players can score with bullet headers from the half way line. If anybody thinks that woun't appear in the shipped game you are stupid.

Ha Ha Ha

You think, with one month to go, the game isn't finalized! Are you like totally naive? The game is:

(1) Finished
(2) Boxed
(3) Distributed to major channeling outlets across each continent.

I know somebody who works for FedEx (very well, not a friend of a friend) who said they are expecting the shipments for North Texas, and subsequently South Central distribution here in the next 5 days for it to be sent to the major gaming stores to start offering promotions.

Try harder before talking crap. People here do have brains.

sometimes i wonder if EA really do watch what we say and hope for..but what came across my mind is that they must be very aware of people being disgruntled and unhappy with their product cause it seems like they actually do surf the net and look at all these fottball gaming sites (thats how they probably knew that site had a copy of the demo etc) and the damn bad thing is those bitches just flipping ignore us!!!!! ..anyway the demo version is actully the real thing theyre going to release..its way too late to do any changing on the programming etc..its simply a marketing ploy....just to wet our appetites but it backfired as usual lol...but there are always the few out there that live and die and swear by mudder arse EA!!!!!!

EA blows :o

If they think im honestly gonna pay for this game they gotta be kidding.. i bought everything upto Fifa 2001 but never again.. my support for EA is over :p

What u see in the demo is basically what u get.. they wouldnt leak a copy if it was not final, at least the gameplay anyway.

Same old story again, EA just thrashing a dead horse over n over.. I mean how many games can u release that r basically the same thing.. EA and the Fifa series gotta take the cake. They r making a killing and laughing all the way to the bank year in year out by just tweaking the same old engine.

I aint splashing out nothing more than a blank cd on this title.. after all in my mind this is all EA r now worth
