check your folder options to show hidden files, and then delete d3d9.dll and d3dx9_26.dll from the FIFA10 main folder. patch will then be deleted.

Thanks Duong!! Everything is all right now. But I think this will delete and your previous patch which is very good.

I've got problems with the new patch. After I installed the patch, my game is veeeery slow and it takes several minutes to get to the start menu. Actually the menu loads so slowly that I can't even play.

I have Windows 7 with UAC deactivated (GTX 280, Core i, 6 GBRAM). What did I do wrong?

@enjoy: you can just reinstall my previous patch again and everything will be the same

@kkur7: if it annoys you too much, i think you gotta do the same as enjoy and delete d3d9.dll and d3dx9_26.dll from your FIFA10 folder, and then reinstall DMGR if you so wish.

I had the same problem with very slow menu but I solve the problem: I just put a no-cd Fifa10.exe and the patch work well now

yeh deleting them didnt make any difference maybe worsened it

@fcgb17: which no-cd .exe did you download? was it razor-1911?

here is some info of the first official update based on feedback received.

*Details:

-extreme brightness on players' faces and skins removed
-overall contrast reduced
-sunny, sunset and night turfs reconfigured
-Vignette effect (dark areas round the corners of the screen) removed
-The game now launches with patch automatically disabled. It can be manually enabled when player enters a match by pressing Shift+F12

*In progress:

compiling settings and files necessary for patch to perform smoothly across different machines.

*Known issues:

-Loading screens lose colors and details and turn into black screens with growing white patches before entering match mode. Solution: unknown. Workaround: leave the patch off during menus and only turn it on during match time.

-Olympistadion's sunset mode appears glaringly bright as compared to other stadiums in sunset mode (EA bug). Solution: unknown. Workaround: disable patch with Shift+F12 during such a match.

-Patch causes stuttering in some certain machines. Possible cause: outdated DirectX control library. Solvable. Solution: in progress. Workaround: disable patch with Shift+F12.
