Doesn't that depend on the tournament?
In the more recent ones included like 2010 FIFA World Cup there are different versions iirc.

What is the maximum number of players in a team?

There are 39 players in Ballon d'Or team. Cannavaro who won it in 2006 is in there (which is good, because they don't have many defenders ) but Ronaldinho (2005) isn't, so I thought maybe the limit has been reached.

Also, if it's going to be updated until 2010 we need 3 more spots!

I had the chance to read some credible reports about the 1924 Olympic Football Tournament in Paris, and I found out some differences between the jerseys and trousers the Egyptian and the Hungarian national team had worn in real life and in the patch. In the patch, Hungary 1924 has white trousers, for both the home and away sets, while they actually had black trousers for both their home and away sets at that time. As for Egypt 1924, in the patch both of their jerseys are mostly green or a green kit with white stripes, while the reporter at that time described their jersey as a "red kit with white stripes and white trousers with red side panels". I know it's not the most important thing in the world (especially as I know you're very busy right now), but I think this small detail could add to the realism of this unique project.

Well, the Hungarian sport newspapers from that era didn't contain any pictures, only the detailed reports of the matches, and they also mentioned the description of the kit sets. I haven't found any photos about the Egyptian team, but I think if you would change the green colour to red on both of them, it would be perfectly enough.

Take Champion league 2005 for exemple, the tournament ID for UCL 2005 is 4005.
Thus, I put two new files in sceneassets.
One file is sceneassets/tournament/specifictournament_0_4005_0.rx3
The other file is sceneassets/tournamentdress/tournament_4005_0.rx3

When I start in the match, there is no tournament dressing effect.
Do I need to write something in the "lua" file?

Specific boots work just fine, so rev mod is working. And I've renamed the files according to the format that works in national version, but they don't appear in the game.

2-why do you rename the stadiums?? did you edit the textures??

Sí, I have those two rx3 files and put them in tournament folder

the tournament ID for UCL 2005 is 4005 because I check it via fifa explorer tool

most of the functions work under rev mod but as for me, tournament dressing may encounter some unknown problem
