Well maybe because the sim is pathetic at the moment. It's decided by how many friendlies are played a week. If you play none you'll win! That's why the inactive teams are doing so well at the moment.

Maybe you should look at your league first rony...
Last 4 teams are considered inactive (Including you). Fourth placed team Handsworth have lost 2 in a row and do play nearly all midweek matches. Third placed team Predacons are playing ,at the very most, half of the friendlies they could be playing. Noticed they have won 3 in a row... started winning when the simulator came out. Second placed team Delamere FC are inactive... Wolf Pack have started to play friendlies. They have lost 2 in a row.
If you also check the hockey forums you will find 50 other people who agree with this 'philosophy' and 1 exception. Two if you consider yourself an exception but I doubt you could looking at the above info.
EDIT: Also, you have won 2 in a row and you're inactive...

Same here. I bought a player for £240k or so (now my best alround player), and now I have about the same to spend... wish it was that easy in football, well it is, but in hockey my expenses are low.

Mine has a few stats on 4, a couple on 2 which I need to work on, and passing and checking of 6. Two days later and it was 7 checking, not maxed.

Well that 15k coach can't be doing much good as I've just looked at your league and your in the relegation zone, all be it only just.
You must have a few bob in the bank, as you haven't bought anybody yet or spent much on your stadium, but at least you play friendliesmost days.
I think MZ in going to take off next season, so it's best you get things sorted out now.

Well I started with a 3 puck goalie and now that goalie is close to 5 puck keeping. I'd call that major progress from my coach. The reason I am in the relegation zone is because of my players are all needing rest. This is becasue the inactive teams dont play any friendlies while teams who do end up with a team full of tired players. You will find that since the new sim came out, the inactive teams/rubbish teams have won the last 3 matches. There are some exceptions though. I have put many bids in for players including a 7 puck goalie but was outbidded in the dying mintues. I am not playing any friendlies this now until my players recover from their fatigue. I haven't spent much on my stadium because I am saving a sum of money up at the moment so that I can spend money on players when the sim is actually fixed to a reasonable level. It's garbage this now. I've only lost 1 out of the last 25 friendlies yet unable to get a win in 3 league matches. I also beat the Ice Bears in the league, they're only loss in the league up until this week. That was before the new sim suprisingly...

The form has today very little effect, and you can use your tired players in friendlies without much worry. We will keep the form effect reduced until we have resolved the issues with how the form is updated.
