You dive by pressing LT, LB and RB at the same time.
And yeah I've succeeded in making a dive which awarded me a freekick.
However, I think it's stupid that the players are showed the yellow card every time they try to dive - that's not realistic. Just look at United's game against Sporting. The Sporting players dived horrible 5 times the first 10 minutes before they were showed the first card.
The referee in PES should just let play continue bashing his arms saying "no foul" unless it's in the penalty area or the player has dived previously in the match.

Although I never managed to do it, the AI has done it PLENTY of times against me.
The best example was when I was Brazil and faced Argentina. Crespo got the ball and he fantastically dribbled past 5 of my players and eventually came inside the penalty area. Naturally, my GK then went after him to get the ball. Right when my GK reached him, Crespo fake dived. The bad news was that the ref "fell for it" and gave my GK a red card and gave Argentina a penalty kick. And I unfortunately wasn't able to block the pentaly, but oh well. IMO the gameplay is just fantastic! Very realistic. I also want to try shirt pulling. Has anyone managed it?
All i want to see now in the game is a player interview after each game...

I was running up the park and right behind me was a cpu player on my heels and little pushes in the back, the thing was the ref was behind play so he could not have had a clear view on my player as the cpu player was right behind my player blocking the ref view. So I thought this is one time I can dive as the ref has no clear view because of the player running up my player back..

Did it another time as my player ran across a cpu player that stuck his leg in to challenge for the ball , a great time for a dive as the cpu player leg has come across my players legs in an attempt for the ball, down I went .. booked.

I've managed to get two penalty kicks and a few freekicks.
The best PK, was with Ronaldo. I came from the left side of the pitch inside the box, and went in between two players and dived. The ref went for it, so got the PK and of course the goal afterwards.

Everything about PES takes months to master,. and so does diving!
I`ve played over a 100 matches now and I hardly get any yellow cards for diving. Just don't dive when the oppononts is doing nothing!!! The key is timing.
Only dive when he puts his leg out, slides or pulls your shirt.. For instance, dive when you are one on one and beat the other. You KNOW he will stick out his legg,.. dive. When you are shielding the ball the other will storm in and start pushing,. dive.. When the timing is correct you`ll get 50% free kick and 50% neither a free kick or a yellow card and play will continue.
Good luck all and don't think you can master PES in a few days! If you want to master something in 24h, go play Fifa.

E for running BUT NO RESULT WHY ?
AND REQUESTING THREE MORE
1- how do we perform trap moves for instance there is a move
such as "turning around the ball without touching it" as i read
it has to be E + direction of the ball but STILL DON'T DO WHY NOT?
2- how to make marseille roulette with keyboard ?
3- and lifting the ball ?
