It's good that Konami have introduced these optional elements into the game and maybe next year we'll experience the odd untimely handball from our otherwise stalwart defenders - but I wonder what might be on the cards for PES 2020?

Will the commentary by Lawrenson (kept alive in semi-cryogenic stupor by fluids drained from Jimmy Hill's beard) proclaim, "surely, he didn't say that" whenever players blaspheme at the ref during cut scenes?

Will the policemen's helmets thud realistically against the exposed groins of streakers after a World Cup winning goal by the love child of Victoria Beckham and Franz Beckenbauer's sex-changed grand daughter?

Will there be a minute's silence before every England game during which an inebriated Gazza is wheeled in front of the penalty spot to light his pet poodle's farts with a Kiss Me Quick blowtorch?

Will the list of stadiums include a new new Wembley featuring an all-weather rooof styled on Bobby Charlton's combover?

Will prima donna superstars be booked for holding up a corner to take a call from their agent? Or to strip for a photo shoot?

Whatever happens - the gameplay for FIFA will still be pants.

I think that CVS Stilton's point is that KONAMI is gettin kinda off-topic and off the rules with those additions.
Additions that, truth to be said, are good ones and make the game more enjoyable... but are they loyal to football's rules?

I like them, that's all I can say.

Speculative Shirt Pulling

I'm looking forward to it, though it would be interesting to know how it will work. In real life, shirt pulling and diving are both cardable offences - but only as long as the ref sees them, and in the case of diving, if you're Drogba, you could probably even fool Colina on a good day. So, in the game, it wouldn't make sense if you got carded every time and there would be no reason to use the moves. I wonder what criteria they will use to determine when these moves are successful?

**** pulling and diving is part of the game, against the rules yes but part of the game nevertheless just don't get caught(H).

don't get me wrong diving is gay but any good referee should see the difference if the player was faking, they should be punished with a direct red card, just like a tackle from behind.

the problem is that referees nowadays usually are not strict as they should be.
