Is it just me or do club takeover bids always end up "on the rocks"? Discuss your takeover bids and state which club, how much invested (or not!) etc...

Take over went through when Bates jumped ship three years into my Leeds game, nothing dramatic tho. Didnt get a bucket of money, was a local businessman and current board member that took over.

Thought i was gonna lose my job but didnt in the end.

Cool... As the manager of West Ham the consortium "Wes King" planning a multi-million pound takeover said that if the takeover went through then he'd get Martin O'Neill as the manager (who was unemployed, my mate was managing Villa then retired) and for 2 months was unable to make transfers, missed out on some big signings whose contracts were expiring.... gay.

was the manager of west ham the consortium took over retained me as a manager and started spending straight away. all good.

I'm also playing w/ West Ham. Had one of the partners of the old owner beocome the new owner. Has put in a little bit of money to the team but not much. Expectations didn't go up either!

They want promotion, have no money, a team with an average age of 21 and no attendences.

There are some (comparitively) good players in that squad - Frutos was also good for me in 06. But it sure is a challenge

Frutos is good aye. Brought in two ace loan signings with finishing 18 each.

Danny Haynes, Levi Porter and Kirk Broadfoot (if poss, can't get him with a league 2 side) are all awesome loan signings, kirky-boy espesh.

4 sum reason im the manager of southend i wanted a chalenge and randomised it anyway my chairman at the begining of the game it said was willing to listen to offers but then about in february he changed to loves the club i realy wanted a takeover transfer buget is crap HELP!!

I went 2 seasons with very little mention of takeovers then 3 happened within a couple of weeks of each other (:/)

2009 - time for manutd takeover. further plunged into debt, players unsettled, though team top of the league.

in scotland theres loads mostly inverness, gretna, dundee and dunfermline. and its always the fans trust that do them.

im at aberdeen and got loads of cash injections by members of the board but then when i bought some good players i went into debt and now i cant offer them new contracts.

ah man another takeover in 2012, though this time an british billionare has come in and gave me a transfer budget of 58.9 million. wow!
