Whats wrong ?, why everything is so ****ed up?, i thought we lived in a civilized world, violence is everywhere, its to sad ,i cant even imagine the world our children are going to live in.

And a country like Denmark isn't violent or unsafe because people commite Suicide, that's something completely different.

There is a correlation between homocide and suicide. Countries with high homicide have low suicide and vise versa. It has something to do with the fact that people when frustrated don't take their anger out on others, but instead blame themselves. In U.S. you can see people like that asian guy taking their anger out on others. That's what I learned from my psychology class, so I don't have any hard evidence to prove it and it infact might be a completely wrong thought as well.



As for the violent world. Its been around since the ancient times, infact its always been around and it's definietly improving. Just because things like this are not recorded in history books, doesn't mean that they didn't happen.

I wasn't replying to you, but you're right, it's VERY easy to buy a gun, I understand that. I mean I can go out and get a sub-machine gun, and yea, the media is all over this. But only because the left is the current vogue, and that sells ads.

What I'm saying is that you can't stop a killer from killing if he really has his mind set on it. He will find a way, and it won't be knife attacks.

There are a billion ways to kill a man, and most of them aren't hard to find. A gun is just one.

I thought Denmark is the safest country in the world, in terms of homicides, however it has one of the highest suicide rates in the world.

Well, I guess safety is a relative term, especially in our age of terror as some would say, but yeah, this country has a low murder-rate, I think we had like 29 homicides last year, and that's very low even in proportion to the States.

On one of the news channels a student from the campus was asked about his thoughts on the massacre. You would think he would be outraged the gunman had no problems obtaining a firearm? The answer was NO. This student was ruing the fact that neither him or any fellow students had a gun to defend themselves with.

Being from a nation with very tight gun laws i was very surprised by this kind of attitude but i doubt your average American would bat an eye lid. Just shows the huge cultural difference regarding gun control between Europe and the US.
