O.K so i downloaded this program andopened it and went to 'load database' changed squad numbers and capataincy then saved the database.Now how do i get the changes into the game from there? When i go to export there is no file to overwrite.So wot do i need to do?

After saving the changes you do not need to do anything.
The changes should be in the game then as well.
Only I am not shure if the settings also are changed if you load saved settings (tournaments).
Always select default squads.

I'm running the road to dutch glory patch, will this effect the DBEDIT++? also does this mean i'll have to delete my profile and start over?

Your profile isn't going to be changed.
The RTDG patch will only edit names and textures.
It has nothing to do with profiles.
