Thanks for the tip, but choosing "delete" at the initial prompt ("squads1 appears to be damaged...") doesn't seem to do anything. I can't actually find a physical squads1 file anywhere on my HD to delete it manually (or to back up my Personal Settings file)... is there somewhere else, in Windows or in-game, I should be looking?

It's not, unfortunately. A search reveals the Fifa 12 one where it should be, but not 16. Has something buggered up?

Hello! First of all CM 16 is fantastic and thank you for providing such as tool for us! It has worked perfectly for me.

I have only one problem that I can't seem to be able to solve. Although I install different kits and even make my own kits, when I change the numbers(their style,fonts,colors,etc) I don't see any change in-game.

I've tried to regenerate files, save my work properly, replace the folders of the original numbers with my custom numbers but in-game I see the same kit numbers as always.

If anyone knows a solution I would be glad to hear it! Thanks for the patience!

If anyone could tell me how to change a teams formation using CM 16..Id appreciate it.

Under the "Roster" tab, if you double click the highlighted formation name underneath the line-up diagram, it'll take you to the formation page where you can select from a baseline generic template; using the dropdown box at the bottom, choose your baseline formation and hit "Copy", this will populate the rest of the fields with the generic data. Make any changes you want, hit refresh, and go back to the teams page (which should still be on "Roster"), hit refresh again, and the formation name will have changed from (e.g.) Arsenal 5-3-2 to Arsenal 4-4-2 or whatever.

If you need to make a completely new formation for whatever reason, follow the steps above until you get to the formation page, hit delete, and then pick a baseline generic formation from the list on the left-hand side and tweak to preference. Although CM16 doesn't let you assign a generic formation to a specified team, this is how it works around that, by creating a new formation based on a generic template; when you refresh your roster tab you should see the new formation has been applied and it'll now say (e.g.) Arsenal 4-3-1-2.

In game, but if you deleted it at prompt, here's a chance it might not be there. Worth a try though........Customize, Profile, Delete, and you should see all your saved files.

Yes. You have to finalize all your changes before you begin a career. When you want to make new changes, backup your Fifa installation and reinstall that the next time you want to continue your career.

Are you saving with the top-left button (which saves the D perhaps?
Try saving also with the button that's near the buttons you use to move the numbers (it saves the current positions directly into the kit's rx3 file) and see if the changes are retained.
Mind you, this has to be done on a kit per kit basis: every kit you modify, must have the new positions saved.

Rinaldo, I'm pretty sure you're finalized for this year and won't see this but, I spotted a small bug I thought I would mention for next year.

Some stadiums are not saving to the database properly and are being stored as 0 instead of the selected stadium's ID. Easy to fix, just edit the DB. Just thought I would mention.

I think this only starts to happen once many teams have been added.

Do you know a way to change by CM the various group of international and european competitions(Champion,Europaòeague ecc)?
