Creation Master 13 Help?

[Fifa 13 through Origin with Creation Master 13]
I edited my jerseys once and it deleted or destroyed my files for saved games (career mode). I'm afraid to ruin my awesome career saved game, but I would like to change my kit again, I love doing that xD. Anyway. Am I doing something wrong in Creation Master that causes this? Is there anything I can do to fix it? Thanks for your time :3

You can't ruin your career save because you can't edit your career save. Once you edit the files, you have to start a new career. And I hope and assume you backup any files that you edit, including your career save files. That's the first thing a modder does before starting any editing project.

I've edited my jerseys and my career got corrupted, so if I edit kits, will it even show up in the career saved game? If it does, how do I backup files? I tried finding them and I couldn't find my saved games anywhere. :\ Thanks for the help :3

Once you edit the files, you have to start a new career. Edit any files before you start a career. All save files are located: Documents / FIFA 13.

You don't ruin/destroy your career save file when you use CM 13. What you are doing is editing the db, not the career save file. Once you edit the db that you were using for your career, the game cannot read your career save file any longer. If you want to continue with your career, simply delete the edited db, and replace it with the db you were using before you started editing with CM 13. After that, the game will be able to load your career save file.

No. There are mods like Revolution Mod that allow you easily add/switch kits, shoes, etc. Check those out. I doubt any of them allow you to change kits after starting a career, but I don't know because I don't use them, so maybe they do.
