Creation Master 11 [Solutions for Problems]

Hey friends,
There are many problems faced by people during the usage of Creation Master 11.
Now let us provide some help by posting fixes which we know for problems we face. Its is very difficult to find solutions in the CM11 official thread.

Please note that this thread is only for posting solutions and please don't post problems. Just mention the Problem in the post before posting solutions.

Problem :

My CM11 froze, so i just closed it. But now FIFA 11 or CM 11 wont open. Re-installation is so much fun.

Solution :

No need to reinstall.
Just go to the folder of your database
game/data/db
Now, rename the file fifa_ng_db.db.bak to fifa_ng_db.db
DONE...!!!

Note: It will restore the last successfully edited DB.

In windows 7 64-bit CM11 will crash when opened.

Solution:
Right-click on CM11 and select open as administrator.

The same for Vista 32-bit.

My instructions on creating a team tell you what to do.

Problem:
CM11 crashes when started. Also if CM11 does not save files to FIFA 11s archives.

Reason:
CM11 needs write access to it's own files. It also needs write access to the games files and folders. In Windows Vista and 7 often access is restricted by default.

Solution:
Right click on your FIFA 11 folder and select "Propeties." Click on the "Security" tab and then the "Edit" button. Select your user name and check the "Allow" box for "Full Control" below. Then click "Ok". Do the same for CM11's folder.

Running CM11 as administrator will also solve this problem.

Problem:
You change a team's adboard ID and the change is not visable in game.

Reason:
In friendly matches all teams use adboard ID 1. The original adboard ID is visable in career mode since adboard IDs seem to be hard coded in the game, the ID in the database is not actually used by the game.

Solution:
None at present.

This thread is a great idea. If it is used properly it will form a useful manual which people can read instead of asking for the solution of a solved problem.

Guys.... I found out a fix (which worked for me) for the new team crashing problem.

Problem:

We create a new team in CM. The game works fine with all teams, but it crashes as soon as we select the newly created team (for any purpose - exhibition, editing etc.).

Solution:

I think that in FIFA 11 it is necessary to add the Jersey name in the player details, even though it wasn't required in the earlier versions. I had the game crashing before the kickoff. It was possible to select the team for any purpose. But it crashed in the Arena mode that comes before kickoff.

I am not sure whether it is the exact solution, but do test it out & it might just work...!!!

Delete the Squads file.
