Maybe the problem could be in the "young" players. Be sure that all and only the young players use a player id over 400000 and also they should not be assigned to any team in the db. This is only a suggestion based on your description of the problem as I have no experience of that.donovanfan3456;2296914 said:

There is the biggers player id in my game.
Do you think the bug can came from that?

Oh well I'm going to check that out, I don't know what age the young players are considered "young" but I'm going to check it out. That's a good Idea to try to resolve the problem and I would of never thought of that. Thank God for these forums.

Well, I do have some players on team that have an id of over 400000, so your theory could be correct, now I have will figure out how I can change those IDs and I will post the results here.

The problem is caused by players on teams that have a playerid of over 400000.
If you change your playerids on you new teams to numbers lower than 400000 your careers will work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not the same for me.
I have remove all the player who have an id more than 400 000 and who are in a team. I have started a new career. And at the end of the first season, when I was on the 'contract's end' menu, I clic on 'continue', and the game crash and come back on windows.
I need help please. Someone can say me where can be the trouble?

Your problem seems to be a different problem.
I would check to make sure all of your created players have a contract year date. You can do this by exporting using .db master and checking the teamplayerlinks file. This is the only thing I can think of that could make it crash at that spot. But perhaps they're is something else also, but maybe you've already tried that.

There is an option in CM07 to import CC06 files... will there be a similar option in CM08 to import CM07 files? if so you've basically revolutionized the way we make patches... I can make all of the national teams and never have to completely start from scratch again. I'de really just have to make minor updates.
another quick question for you Rin. I guess it's a suggestion... is it possible that in a future edition of CM there could be a progress bar for the patches. When i'm importing a patch if my screensaver kicks on or if i click my mouse or hit a button... I loose the ability to see who or what it's importing at any moment... it'd be nice if I could know for sure it's actually still importing rather than assuming it's crashed and starting over.
