Thank you very much!!!!! It seems to be working.....
The other question I have is....now I can' t use CC2004 for kits or faces or Team names or anything right?
Oh well....at least I can play with the right players.....

You can still use the CC for importing kits, faces, chants etc. The alternate method is the best way - I know of - to fix the problem you were having.

The only person I can think of that can either shed some light on this problem and/or fix it would be none other than Chau Lee (havent heard from him for a while though) :(

Just remember, if you use the DBedit in conjunction with CC, I recomend editing all your rosters with DBedit first. One you have made all your changes, use the CC for importing all other graphics and audio fx. Once you use the CC though, you make come across the "blank team name" issue with dbedit. The players will appear correct, but the team name may be blank. Again I believe this is due to the way the two editors copy their data into the data\fe\*.db files.

when i installed the CC 2004 some charts were missing and they were replaced by ? sign
how to solve this prob ?

Were the names created using english characters or was your fifa.db file modified with another editor?

I've seen this happen sometimes with other applications when a PC is setup using multilingual support. When you start FIFA, see if the names appear correct. If so, then I would not worry about this minor issue.

i haven't modefied it with another DB editor
also the charecters was ok till i installed the CC 2004

in the game the charecters are missing too
this is weried
i dont know how to solve this
any ideas

That is strange. Somehow the text must have changed once you saved your changes. Just as a test, see if you can replace the fifa.db file with the original from your CD - make a backup of your current fifa.db file first! Then start the CC and see if Turkey comes up with the same problem. If this solves the problem, then we have to figure out how and why this happened.

One more question. Your version of Windows is English right?

i did that ... and the same problem appeared
also my Windows is english

before installing the CC the i didn't have that problem

Try restoring the fifa.db and all the *.db files in your data\cmn\fr folder (i.e. ENG.DB etc). Dont open the CC, try FIFA first and see if Turkey shows up correct.

Try to rename your FIFA 2004 folder in My Documents. When FIFA starts, it will look like the default (first install since profiles, saved games etc will not exist - FIFA will create a new folder called FIFA 2004 if it does not find one in your My Documents folder).

On my PC Turkey looks fine (no ? in the player names).

sorry if someone's asked about this before, but i'm not going through sixteen pages looking for it.

my problem is when i create a player, give him a name, make him a striker, do his looks and attributes and save to database, but for some reason his name in the game is still "player 15001" or something, and he is always a goalie.

why? what am i doing wrong?

I'm still getting cloned players in my team in career mode. First season everythings fine but in the second season suddenly there two of everybody in the starting line up.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try deleting the roster files in your My Documents\FIFA 2004 folder and see if that fixes the problem.

that won't work, just download the orster fix ariel santarelli made, at www.socceraccess.com then you won't have player clones any longer.... :)

You have to start with a new season with new rosters....without any rosters in the My Documents/fifa 2004 and run Roster Fixer from the beginning.
Then you should have no problems.......
But if you edit your rosters in CC2004 while you are in a season then you will get that problem.....

my computer jus crashd not long ago so i lost everything, i download creation centre again and it says Message_NotInstalled and then stops, how do i fix

When i change the face of a player in CC2004, the programme says: "Please select a valid specific face ID".
What do i do... I've tried to click the browse button and select some faces, but it still tells me to select a specific face ID...


By the way... how do i change the club logo in CC2004...???
