My turn,

Chau, I updated the Dutch league according, to what I think is most realistic: Espacially the big 3 Ajax, PSV & Feyenoord needed a big update:

Now, suddenly with Ajax, 2 out of 3 goalies dissappeared, Pasanen and (the newlly created) W. Sneijder are in there twice (!?) and Rafael v.d. Vaart sometimes is and sometimes isn't in my squad.

Can the new CC-fix, fix this problem, or do I have to start all over again, or even re-install the FIFA game as a whole?

Hi!

My problem is that in the CC2004 the windows that contains the team/player lists and where you can modify the datas are to small and I must use the scrollbar to see the whole page...

I have try edited the registery where the win layout data is stored but nothing...

My windows res is 1024x768...

If you could please help!

the game crashes when i make changed... it crasheds when i did changes in man united (boots, hair style of the players and the kind of ball) although i did these changes in ECP DBEdit and it works fine.(i restor the new file fifa.db)
but when i did changes in boca juniors (boots, ball kind and formation) the game works fine.
so what's problem ?????

People haven't expressed this bug because they normally don't need to make a new team, but is a bug, I had tried this in two computers with very different characteristics, and in both I had the same problem.

Chau, the bug is that changing the name of the team doesn't work in the game. The players have no problem, I already test it and changing league name, I'm not sure because I haven't try it.

I've noticed that CC seems to read only the eng database file and to write all the changes on it and only some of them on the database language file you choose in CC (for ex in this one works the modifications on players but not the ones about the teams names)...the provisional solution I tried is to rename the db file of my language (in \FIFA 2004\data\cmn\fe) in eng before using the CC, and after that reaname it again in the initials of my language before starting the game...with this method it seems that all the changes have effect.

But the very very unpleasant bug that like others I found is that if you create a new player in a team or simply add in it a new player from other squads, when you go in the team management in the game it's practically impossible to manage the squad...it happens that when you move a crated player or one that has been moved from another team with the CC this player "corrupts" the positions and the roles of the others, making a total caos and confusion impossible to restore...players impossible to move, players that disappear in the list before playing (and sometimes this causes crashes to Windows), all players become starters and the sub role disappears...and other crazy effects like those.
I obviously undrline in conclusion that I have no kind of patch installed and that, before using CC(of course now the last version of it), I've cancelled all saved stuff that was present in the Fifa2004 folder in "My Documents" and I've restored for precaution the original Fifa.db file and the fe folder from the Cd.

Please Chau, try to solve as soon as possible these very unpleasant problems...it's a pitty, because the rest of the program for me works great and I want to make you all my compliments

Yea, I had ECP DBEdit installed. I installed CC2004 using the DB edit from the other editor and got cloned players. So, I then got rid of ECP DBedit and used the original DB fifa file, and I still got cloned players after using CC2004. That being said, I may have gotten the original DB file from ECP DBedit. I may reinstall Fifa altogether and then I can let you know if I am still getting cloned players after making changes in CC2004.

The Creation center is easy to use but it has certainly caused a lot o strange things to the game so far.

First it (Creation center) was totally blank. Then it was working great for a while. Players could be made, transferred and so on.
I though anyway.

Then there was a new version which crashed it totally.

Cleaned up everything, change back all files again, delete everything from computor and start all over.

This time the new players that was made did not participate. You could not find them in the list of Free Agents even though they should have been there according to the search function.

OK, no new players, then.

Next step was moving some of the players from Free Agents to their teams as a test. Works great until trying to play the game.
In Team management there are a lot of clones, The starting eleven includes a couple of unchangeble goalkeepers.

Then trying to play, the clones are participating together with their original player. Not as amusing as it seems.

I dont know if there will be a solution to this bugs soon, but I certainly hope so...

Hi!! I have a problem with CC2004... When I extract all the files to a folder and I execute de cc2004.exe it loads players, teams and so on... but anything appears in the screen... Why?

Chau,

Yes, I used ECPDBEdit and F2004 and I had the same problem with cloned players and more than 11 starters. But after using these utilities, I replaced the edited fifa.db file with the original one from the CD, and when I edited some teams with the CC 2004 I realized I had that problem again.

Yes, you are completely right my friend. The CC only edits eng.db file, I tried what you said, I renamed eng.db to spa.db and the game becamed obviously in english and the changes I did in CC appeared in the game, something that couldn't be possible without reaming because the CC edits eng.db, and the game never charges it as it is in spanish.

Chau I think that something has happened that CC is only editing eng.db, because I saw also a German that had noticed this. About the regedit I also have the same:

LanguageName = Spanish

hmmm....odd....i got the new version...copied the original fifa.db and eng.db.......and now everything is fine for me.

I found the problem. I've fixed it and it will be included in the next release. Hopefully it won't be too long.

In the mean time there is a work around:

1. Before using CC
. rename ENG.DB to OriginalENG.DB
. rename SPA.DB to ENG.DB

2. Use CC to edit your stuff

3. After saving and exiting from the CC
. rename ENG.DB back to SPA.DB

You could even write a batch file to do that.

Can somebody tell me how to get a player to have lonh sleeves!??

I have chosen 0 and 1 on several players, but don't see the difference, issn't long sleeve enabled in fifa 2004?
that would be ****ed up!

Sorry Chau for the insistence, but what about the other and even more serious problem about the team management? (I've described it in a previous but recent post)...Do you already have any ideas about a solution?

long sleeves werent changeable in 2003 and arent changeable in 2004 either.

I don't think that your file is wrong, wht you have to do is right click to the file, porperties and uncheck the opyion that says Read Only
