here i'm again spending days try to figure out why this game cant load.the menu page is perfect,option menu for display shows DX7d3dHal.what happen is everytime i tried to load the game,it exit to windows.my platform is a Pentium III 550,64mb,voodoo3 with latest driver installed,and microsoft Dx8.a.need help from expertse out there.thanx.noneng

had the same with my voodoo2.
had to change my videocard from DX7d3dhal or something to DX7-voodoo2.
Can't you change your card to your voodoo3?

The voodoo2 has 2 devices which unfortunately confuses the release version of the game and gets the video modes confused - one of the devices has 4 modes, the other has about 16, but the frontend doesn't recognise the switch. Fixed in the patch.

Workaround for now is to select the lowest video mode possible and that should be 640x480x16, (though it won't actually say that in the frontend - probably 512x384x16, but it should actually be 640x480 or a little higher).. hopefully. Then get the patch whenever it gets released.

If it's suffering from the issue I just described, and we think it is, then yes it should fix it.
