yea i think the game would better if there were less soft goals. however freestyling and dribbling needs lots of time to practice. do you know freestyling aint random they are specific keys to them. once i scored a superb goal with cassano he dribbled past 2 defenders(i used direction keys at the right time when defender commits the tackle) then he was through 1 on 1 with peruzzi then he did a 360 deg turn whicn spun past d goalie. keeper got cassano's legs thoguh but the balll tricked past the goaline. pity i cant save it

It's pretty easy you know...you just need to hold on to possession to your opponent's half and pass it around...one touch or two touches are the best...when the time is right pass to one of the strikers(which should be at the edge of the box) and immediately pass it into the box where a striker will run for it...then charged your shot and aim at a far corner...GgooAaLL!!
Practise it in the practise mode that's what i did...

invincible? if you say scoring is hard, its definitely not, even playing world class, you still able score 2 or more goal. but if you losing ball in their defending area, the possibility you can tackle back their ball in their defending area is only 10%. because if you go to data\cmn, there got 1 ini file named, "ini", 1 part there write, the percentage of success they passing in defending are is = 90%, it mean you only have 10% to get back your lose ball

I hate the CPU defense because when you pass to one of your attackers, you NEVER have any time to react. You aren't able to pass the ball, take a shot, or even run with the ball because the CPU will always intercept the ball as soon as your attacker gets it..........

Still, I manage with this and play on Semi-Pro..even though I have a tough time.

try meeting the ball with your attacker as the balls rolls on the ground!

this is actually one of the basic moves in soccer, meet the ball!

Anybody knows how to do a 360 in the PS2 Version? Once I did it...but i've forgotten how. Anyway, I'm sure it'll take lots of practice to dribble pass the defender!
