He's at Tigres.

The team looks alright, and our performance as of late has been decent, but I'm still not convinced Tabarez was the best option for DT. We'll see.

Some awful news for us, Juan Vargas from Calcio Catania is injured and Jair Céspedes from Sport Boys is going to replace him.

Cold Aags

Senior Squad
Uruguay and Paraguay squads are not bad :p anyway I think we have all the chances to win this cup... only I don't like Riquelme wearing #10 that number weight too much for him in Argentina's kit

El Diablo Rojo

Starting XI
Indeed Uruguay and Paraguay look interesting, i'm looking forward to what this Colombian team will do, i'm looking forward for another Uruguay-Colombia clash at some point of the cup.

What a pity Juan Vargas is missing the cup he was great at Colón.:S

Number 10 of Argentina always weight too much but someone has to wear it, probably the other option would've been Aimar but seeing as Riquelme may be the starter and Aimar probably will start as substitute.

Some of the stadiums of Venezuela are looking great, they will be greatly beniffted by hosting this Copa América seeing as they wil be in recurrent use in their league, they will increase the number of teams to 18 for the next season.

From what i've heard Argentina's starting 11 would be like this.

----------Abbondanzieri
-
---------Ayala----G. Milito
---Ibarra------------------Heinze
-
----------Mascherano---Cambiasso
--Verón
-----------Riquelme
-
-----Tevez----------Crespo

because bradley will have a few playing in the Gold CUp final..

Man if there ever was a hostile territory for the U.S to play in, this has to be it. I hope we put up a good performance.. Argentina is the team to be afraid of, on paper they can win all their games with flying colors.

El Diablo Rojo

Starting XI
I think we can win it this time, however i think all the matches are gonna be tough the majority of the teams look promising. I believe the only match that has some chances of being a cakewalk is the first one with United States, actually i can't wait to see what Ayala and co will do with that Donovan fellow.(H)

El Gran DT
Im very angry, Pavel, Osorio and Salcido are not going to play Copa America, yeah our best players, **** them!!, its obvious they miss Lavolpe and want to affect Hugo, they dont really want to be in the NT, the dont want to make Mexico big asi it was mentioned at the begining of the new process, if they only wanted to partcipate in 1 tournament they should communicate that to Hugo BEFORE Gold Cup and im sure they would had rest and played at Copa America instead.

They need vacations , from what??, Pavel and Osrio only played the league , and Salcido had a long rest, the Dutch League ended like a month ago or more their excuse is lame, whats the point of having players at top european leagues if they are going to be "tired" all the time, im so pissed its seems that there are some serious problems betwen Hugo and the players, but in part is Hugo´s Fault he didnt stopped to talk **** about the NT in the whole Lavolpe era, and im sure a lot of players still angry at him

Anyway here is the list for Copa

Porteros : Oswaldo Sánchez, Santos; Guillermo Ochoa, América; Jesús Corona, Tecos.

Defensas: Jonny Magallon, Guadalajara; Fausto Pinto, Pachuca; Francisco Rodríguez, Guadalajara; José Antonio Castro, América; Rafael Márquez, Barcelona (ESP); Gonzalo Pineda, Guadalajara; Gerardo Galindo, Necaxa.

Medios: Jaime Lozano, Tigres; Ramón Morale, Guadalajara; Gerardo Torrado, Cruz Azul; Andrés Guardado, Atlas; Fernando Arce, Monarcas; Jaime Correa, Pachuca.

Delanteros: Alberto Medina, Guadalajara; Omar Bravo, Guadalajara; Adolfo Bautista, Guadalajara; Cuauhtémoc Blanco, América; Nery Castillo, Olympiacos (GRE); Jared Borgetti, Cruz Azul; Juan Carlos Cacho, Pachuca

I think Osorio is playing injured right now. But for Pavel and Salcido, it sucks because they should be pretty well rested. We still are taking a pretty strong team, but the way the Gold Cup has been played, I'm not expecting much.

well sad to say but Hugo caused all of this. i say even if he wins Gold Cup he

should step aside after Copa America. because process is bearly starting and

already there have been many internal conflicts between players and Hugo.

at least when Lavolpe was there the only conflict was the novela with Ego

Sanchez....
