Connection lost (OR) Connection with your opponent has been lost

I have tried more than two hours to play at online today... Ok its loading, but when the game starts, suddenly a message pop ups as follows:

Connection with your opponent has been lost

( OR )

Connection lost

Even i have changed my formations more times...nothing happaned more than a connection error...

What EA servers are doing...?

How can i play ?

msn, icq, skype...

Not the only one. I played online the first 2 days I bought fifa but then all of a sudden I couldn't play and haven't been able to play. Mine doesn't even say connection lost - it just goes back to the main screen.

the problem is the ea master server, it is for all players of fifa 10 from all corners of the globe.

ea needs servers for individual continents, making connecting that much easier.

when i try to connect to someone being from the usa i usually get connected to someone from europe.

even w/ high speed internet connections its simply too far for a solid connection to be made to someone,
unless for example you are from spain & you find someone from spain your chances of playing a game will be much higher.

Does my head in. Can barely play a game. How do you search for people from the UK, so I can actually finish a game regularcat?
