First let me say that I can connect fine to anyone whom I want to play, the problem however is my friends. He is at work right now but I thought I would post this for him so hopefully we can play against each other (and I can give him a proper whooping) by the time he gets out tonight.
We originally had problems connecting against each other last night, we would get a black screen when it went from setting up match time, PK, etc. to choosing teams when he hosts, and when I hosted it would go to the white loading screen then say "Connection lost" or "Can not connect with user", something along those lines. We quit and later tried again, and it worked! (Odd!) We played two or three games and quit for the night. We went to play today and are back to the original problem. Neither of us have altered anything on our computers. He is not going through a router and has no firewall up, what could be the problem? I would say maybe option files, because I know we have different ones, and different roster updates, etc., however it worked fine for a while last night? Thanks for the help!
Cliff Notes: Getting "connection lost" or "can not connect to user" when playing my friend, though we could play fine last night. nothing altered, he isnt running router or firewall.
