Congrulations to Boro for advancing in the UEFA Cup

I'm surprised that no one has really mentioned this in the board.

Boro were 2-0 down against Basel in the first leg where they played away.

They were able to win the seond leg 4-1 at home to come back 4-3 on aggregate. 90th minute goal. Simply breathtaking stuff. I hope they go all the way to win the cup.

It's gonna be a tough tie for Steaua but I'm feeling confident, I think our defense can handle Viduka and JFH and if that's the case there's no excuse for Steaua not to advance to the final. I'm REALLY looking forward to it (Y)

It will be a tough game for Steaua, although I don't know much about them. But if Steaua are to win, the defence is going to have to keep an eye on Mark Viduka...big and powerful, good in the air, good with the ball at his feet. Stuart Downing and Morrison will probably be the main threats though, especially Downing. He's a great player (underrated in my opinion). He has a stunning left foot, he can put a fantastic cross in, and if Viduka's there to meet it, it's more often than not, a goal. Downings vision to pick a pass is as good as anyones.George Boateng is a poor man's Makelele (H) So no need to explain him :p Although, the defence isn't too great, and if Steaua can keep Middlesbrough out of the other end, they have every chance (although, Boro have lots of players that can shoot from range like Rochemback (must have a cannon in his boot or something :o, Hasselbiank (scored a screamer against Basel yesterday and is a danger at freekicks), Viduka can hit them aswell, as can Downing, Morrison and Mendieta. We all know about Yakubu and his pace... lot's of players to watch out for. :p Oh and Boro have a solid keeper in Mark Schwarzer.

no seriously, its a ******* disgrace. Every single time i seen boro in the Uefa Cup this season its empty seats, and not always in the away stands.
